Payment for working on public holidays. If a member of staff is required to work on a public holiday they will be entitled to be paid at a rate of time and a half of his/her relevant daily pay for the hours worked on the public holiday and where the day would otherwise be a working day for them, they shall be given a day’s paid leave at a later date in lieu of the public holiday he/she worked.
