LABOUR STANDARDS. (a) the Contractor shall comply with the existing local labour laws, regulations and labour standards
(b) the Contractor shall formulate and enforce an adequate safety program with respect to all work under his contract, whether performed by the Contractor or subcontractor. The Contractor has assurance from the Employer of cooperation where the implementation of these safety measures requires joint cooperation.
(c) Upon written request of the Employer the Contractor shall remove or replace any of his employees employed under this Contract. Add the following Sub-Clause 35.2 and 35.3.
LABOUR STANDARDS. Members shall ensure that fair labour standards are maintained in their respective sugar industries and, as far as possible, shall endeavour to improve the standard of living of agricultural and industrial workers in the various branches of sugar production and of growers of sugar cane and sugar beet.

In the performance of the Contract, the Supplier shall ensure that basic labour standards are complied with, including: that the products / services supplied, in whole or in part, are not produced in contravention of the general ban on forced and compulsory labour as set out, inter alia, in ILO Convention nos. 29 and 105, that the products / services supplied, in whole or in part, are not produced in contravention of the general ban on the use of child labour as set out, inter alia, in ILO Convention nos. 138 and 182, that the products / services are produced, in whole or in part, in conditions where the general principle regarding the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining as set out, inter alia, in ILO Convention nos. 87, 98, and 135 are upheld, that the products / services supplied are produced, in whole or in part, in conditions where the general principle on the right to fair pay as set out, inter alia, in ILO Convention nos. 26 and 131 and Article 23 (3) of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights is upheld, that the products / services supplied are produced, in whole or in part, in conditions where the general principle on the right to fair hours of work as set out, inter alia, in ILO Convention nos. 1 and 30 and Article 24 of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights is observed, that the products / services supplied are produced, in whole or in part, in conditions where the general principle on the right to occupational safety and health as set out, inter alia, in ILO Convention no. 155 is observed. In the performance of the Contract, the Supplier shall thus comply with basic labour rights, including the ban on child labour and forced or compulsory labour as set out in the principles stated above of the UN Global Compact.

2. The Project Participants shall be required to follow the employment practices or standards set out in Appendix III, Part IV but no requirements in this regard shall be imposed on the Project Participants in addition to those set out in that Appendix III, Part IV, provided however that the Host Government shall be entitled to vary the standards set forth in Appendix III, Part IV, following due consultation with the Project Investors, and in line with the relevant labour standards applicable to similar projects.
LABOUR STANDARDS. (a) The Company shall adhere to provisions of Applicable Law on labour.
(b) The Company, its affiliates, contractors and subcontractors shall observe guidance provided by Good Industry Practice, as well as internationally recognized labour standards in relation to all International Labour Organization agreements to which the State is a Party, and shall respect as provided therein the right of its employees to organize.
(c) The Company, its Affiliates, contractors and subcontractors shall not utilize forced labour, nor shall the Company, its affiliates, contractors and subcontractors utilize child labour, as outlined in the International Finance Corporation Policy Statement on Forced Labour and Harmful Child Labour of March 1998.
(d) The Company shall adopt a health and safety management system similar to ANZI Z10 or OHSAS 18001.
(e) The Company shall not engage in or support discrimination in hiring, remuneration, access to training, promotion, termination, or retirement based on race, national or social origin, caste, birth, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, family responsibilities, marital status, union membership, political opinions, or age.
LABOUR STANDARDS. Seller declares to comply and cause any of its subcontractors to comply with the core labour standards of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and observe the compliance with collective agreements and the related minimum pay for employees.
