Safety Standards. Performance of the Contract for all commodities or contractual services must comply with requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and other applicable State of Florida and federal requirements.

Safety Standards. All manufactured items and fabricated assemblies subject to operation under pressure, operation by connection to an electric source, or operation involving connection to a manufactured, natural, or LP gas source shall be constructed and approved in a manner acceptable to the appropriate State inspector. Acceptability customarily requires, at a minimum, identification marking of the appropriate safety standard organization, where such approvals of listings have been established for the type of device offered and furnished, for example: the American Society of Mechanical Engineers for pressure vessels; the Underwriters Laboratories and/or National Electrical Manufacturers’ Association for electrically operated assemblies; and the American Gas Association for gas-operated assemblies. In addition, all items furnished shall meet all applicable requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and state and federal requirements relating to clean air and water pollution.
Safety Standards. The Licensee shall construct, install, operate, maintain and remove the Cable Television System in conformance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, the Massachusetts Electrical Code, the National Electrical Code, the National Electrical Safety Code, the rules and regulations of the Cable Division and the FCC, any other applicable federal regulations, all State laws and regulations, local by-laws, and all land use restrictions as the same exist or may be amended hereafter.

Safety Standards. All employees shall follow safety standards while on duty for the City. This shall include, but not be limited to: the wearing and use of safety equipment, i.e. personal protective equipment, head protection, eye and face protection, foot protection, hearing protection, or any other equipment provided or furnished in any way by the City. The employees shall observe all safety rules and regulations established and posted by the City. Failure on the part of the employee to abide by such safety standards will result in disciplinary action.
