Jury Duty and Court Witness. Time spent by an employee to serve as a juror or court witness shall be considered time worked at the appropriate rate of pay. The Executive Director shall be informed of any required court appearances of any staff and all conduct monies received by any staff person shall be paid to the Employer.

Jury Duty and Court Witness a. A teacher called for jury duty shall be compensated for the difference between the regular teaching pay and any compensation received for the performance of such obligation.
Jury Duty and Court Witness. The Associate Director, Organizational Support Services or designate will grant a leave to an Employee who is summoned to serve as a juror or is required by Writ or Subpoena to appear in court as a witness (not on the Employee’s behalf) and will be paid the Employee’s regular pay for the day required to be in court, provided the Employee presents to the Employer the process which required the Employee’s presence in court and pays over to the Employer the amount received as such juror or witness (less travel and living expense).

The Employee will notify the Employer of upcoming jury/witness service dates as soon as official notification is received.
