Court Witness Sample Clauses

Court Witness. Nurses who are subpoenaed or requested by the Medical Center to appear as a witness in a court case during their normal time off duty will be compensated for the time spent in connection with such an appearance in accordance with the applicable rate of pay. The court witness pay will be assigned to the Medical Center.
Court Witness. An employee acting as a witness under subpoena is allowed time off with pay from scheduled basic hours during such absence. An employee acting as a voluntary witness is not paid for such absence.

Court Witness. CAD 8.01 Where a cadet receives an official notice and is required by the employer to serve as a witness for an OPP related matter incurred in the carrying out of the cadet’s duties on behalf of the OPP, the employee will identify the date(s) required to attend.
