Court Witness Sample Clauses

Court Witness. Nurses who are subpoenaed or requested by the Medical Center to appear as a witness in a court case during their normal time off duty will be compensated for the time spent in connection with such an appearance in accordance with the applicable rate of pay. The court witness pay will be assigned to the Medical Center.

Court Witness. An employee acting as a witness under subpoena is allowed time off with pay from scheduled basic hours during such absence. An employee acting as a voluntary witness is not paid for such absence.

Court Witness. Where an employee receives an official notice, and is required by the employer to serve as a witness for an OPP related matter incurred in the carrying out of the employee's duties on behalf of the OPP, the employee will identify the date(s) required to attend. The supervisor will schedule the employee to attend as part of the employee's regular working schedule.

Court Witness. CAD 8.01 Where a cadet receives an official notice and is required by the employer to serve as a witness for an OPP related matter incurred in the carrying out of the cadet’s duties on behalf of the OPP, the employee will identify the date(s) required to attend. The supervisor will schedule the cadet to attend as part of the cadet’s regular working schedule.

Court Witness. Employees subpoenaed to appear as a witness in a case in court shall be excused for that purpose without loss of pay. A copy of the subpoena shall be filed with the employee’s manager. Any witness fees shall be paid to the College. Excluded are those instances in which an employee is a complaining party or a witness for a complaining party in a legal proceeding against the College.

Court Witness. Any employee who is called as a witness in court for a case concerning the Company shall be paid for all time lost if called to testify during his/her working hours. If witness fees are paid, the employee shall refund them to the Company.

Should an employee be required to miss work because of court appearances as a party or as a witness to a non-job related matter, the employee shall not receive pay for that amount of work time missed. b. Employees subpoenaed as a court witness or other administrative proceedings shall receive their regular County pay, less any witness fees, for attendance in connection with an employee’s official assigned duties. Employees shall submit all court duty compensation to the County Treasurer.

Court Witness. An employee absent from work as a result of a subpoena, summons, or notice to attend to appear as a witness shall be allowed time off with pay. The witness fees received shall be turned over to the Employer. Employees appearing as a witness on behalf of the Employer shall receive their wages and expenses.

Court Witness. Nurses who are subpoenaed to appear as a 13 witness or to submit a deposition in a job-related court case, where the nurse is 14 not a party adversary, during their normal time off duty, will be compensated for 15 the time spent in connection with such activity in accordance with the applicable 16 rate of pay.
