Flex-Time Schedule. The County reserves the right to utilize a flex-time schedule. Employees assigned to a flex-time schedule will be eligible for overtime only when the hours worked exceed eighty (80) in a pay period or as otherwise required by law. The County reserves the right to discontinue the flex-time schedule and reassign an employee to a normal daily work schedule based on the operational needs of the department.

Flex-Time Schedule. The County reserves the right to utilize a flextime schedule. An employee and the employee's appointing authority must agree to the assignment to flextime. Employees assigned to a flex-time schedule will be eligible for compensation for overtime when required by law or when the employee's pay status hours exceed forty (40) in the employee's regular seven (7) day work period or in excess of a normal full-time daily work shift. The County reserves the right to discontinue the flextime schedule and reassign an employee to a normal daily work schedule based on the operational needs of the department. It is not the intent of a flex schedule to require an employee to work beyond their regularly scheduled hours (i.e. overtime) and then adjust other regularly scheduled hours within the same pay period to avoid overtime, unless agreed to by the employee.
Flex-Time Schedule. In addition, the County reserves the right to utilize a flex-time schedule as defined in Article 2. An employee and the employee’s supervisor must agree to assignment to flex-time. A flex-time work schedule is a non-regular work schedule with or without a consistent pattern as to the number of work hours per day or week, but an arrangement under which the employee is obligated to perform work and be responsible for flexing the hours of his/her own work schedule in accordance with a written agreement between the employee and the County. Employees may request and department heads may utilize a flex-time schedule whenever the schedule will benefit the County and will not incur overtime beyond the County’s usual and customary overtime needs under the employee’s regular work schedule. An employee and the County must agree to and complete a written agreement specifying the work week, scheduled days of the week, and hours to be regularly worked for the flex-time assignment. Employees assigned to a flex-time schedule will be eligible for overtime when required by law or when the employee’s paid status hours exceed forty (40) in the employee’s regular seven (7) day work period. Flex-Time Schedule. A. Bargaining unit members interested in flex time will meet with the building principal to discuss the details of the flex time arrangement. Flex schedules will be worked out on a one-to-one basis. If the member is denied the opportunity to utilize flex time, he/she will receive the reasons for denial in writing, if requested.

NYISO may direct, or the Connecting Transmission Owner may request, Developer to reschedule its maintenance as necessary to maintain the reliability of the New York State Transmission System. Compensation to Developer for any additional direct costs that the Developer incurs as a result of rescheduling maintenance, including any additional overtime, breaking of maintenance contracts or other costs above and beyond the cost the Developer would have incurred absent the request to reschedule maintenance, shall be in accordance with the NYISO OATT. Developer will not be eligible to receive compensation, if during the twelve (12) months prior to the date of the scheduled maintenance, the Developer had modified its schedule of maintenance activities other than at the direction of the NYISO or request of the Connecting Transmission Owner.
