Regular Work Schedule. The regular work schedule for full-time employees shall consist of five (5) consecutive and uniformly scheduled eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period, with two (2) consecutive days off. Uniformly scheduled means a daily repetition of the same working hours and a weekly repetition of the same working days.

Regular Work Schedule. 173. Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement, a regular workday is a tour of duty of eight (8) hours of work completed within not more than nine (9) hours. A regular workweek is a tour of duty of worked hours on each of five (5) consecutive days within a seven (7) day period. However, employees who are moving from one shift or one work schedule to another may be required to work in excess of five (5) consecutive working days in conjunction with changes in their work shifts or schedules.

Based on specific bona fide operational needs, the City may assign a work schedule that has a break in consecutive hours or days. If an assignment to a non-consecutive work schedule becomes necessary, the affected employee(s) shall meet with their supervisor and may suggest alternatives. Once the work schedule change is made, employees will be given an opportunity to bid for the schedule based on their seniority. The parties have adopted this provision for the purpose of encouraging full-time employment while accommodating the operational needs of the City. However, this Section is not intended to create any obligation of the City to guarantee any level of work hours or days.
Regular Work Schedule. The determination by the District of an employee’s specific work days, work weeks, work periods, and work shifts, established on a regular ongoing basis.

Regular Work Schedule. The maximum hours of work of an employee at straight time rate shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours per day. The work week at straight time rate shall consist of forty (40) hours per week. In the event full time employees are scheduled a 37.5 hour work week over 5 days, hours worked on the 6th day of the work week will be paid at one and one half times (1.5x) the regular hourly rate. Scheduling Scheduling will be done by classification within each department (and in production by production line) on a weekly basis in accordance with seniority and subject to employees having the present ability to perform the work in a proficient manner. Scheduling in accordance with seniority refers to the number of hours scheduled in a week and does not preclude or limit the scheduling of shifts on a rotational basis. The Company will provide at least twenty-four (24) hour notice of a change in the schedule except in the event of emergency or other unforeseen circumstances. The Company will normally provide a minimum of ten (10) hours off between shifts except for emergency situations or other unforeseen circumstances. The employer will not schedule employees with less than eight (8) hours between shifts. The Company will endeavor to provide a minimum of 1 day off on the weekend and in the event a weekend day off is not provided, the employer will endeavor to provide employees with 2 consecutive days off during the week. Employees may, with the consent of the Company, restrict their availability to designated days in the week. Restricted employees will be scheduled hours only after unrestricted employees have been scheduled hours.
Regular Work Schedule. The regular work schedule begins at 0800 and ends at 1630. As defined, the employee’s basic work requirement consists of five (5) eight (8) hour workdays per work week. All Employees will adhere to a Regular Work Schedule unless approved for and participating in the AWS program.
