Evening/Night Shift Premium. 31.01 An employee who is required to work and does work on any shift where the majority of his or her working hours falls between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following day or who is required to start his or her shift prior to 5:00 a.m. will be paid a night shift premium of seventy cents ($.70) per hour in addition to his or her regular rate of pay for all hours worked on that shift. It is understood that for the purposes of this Agreement, such night shift premium shall not form part of an employee’s regular rate of pay, nor shall it be multiplied by time and one-half when paid on overtime.

Evening/Night Shift Premium. Employees will receive a shift premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for each hour worked between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Evening/Night Shift Premium. Any employee who is required to work an evening shift shall be paid an evening shift premium in addition to his or her regular hourly rate of pay in the amount of seventy-five (75) cents per hour for each such hour and portion of an hour worked. Any employee who is required to work a night shift shall be paid a night shift premium in addition to his or her regular hourly rate of pay in the amount of one dollar ($1.00) for each such hour and portion of an hour worked. Evening and night shift premium pay shall not be added to an employee's hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime. In the case of the Company operating two consecutive twelve (12) hour shifts per day, the shift premium for the second shift will be at the same rate as the aforementioned Night Shift, or one dollar ($1.00) for each such hour and portion of an hour worked.
Evening/Night Shift Premium. An evening/night shift premium of one dollar and ten cents ($1.10) per hour will be paid for all hours worked on a shift (other than overtime) where the majority of the hours worked on the shift fall between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the following day. Such premium shall be considered part of an employee’s basic rate when calculating General Holiday pay and Vacation pay.   • Night Shift Premium Any employee who is required to work on any day when the majority of their working hours fall between 10.00 p.m. and 5.00 a.m., or who starts their shift prior to 5.00 a.m., shall be paid a premium, in addition to their regular, hourly rate, of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for all hours worked on the shift. Shift premium pay shall not be added to an employee’s hourly rate for the purpose of computing overtime. This clause shall not result in duplication of premiums.

  • Night Premium For all time worked by employees, after 7 p.m. and before 7 a.m., by employees hired on or before August 5, 2005, a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour shall be paid.

  • Evening Shift Differential A shift premium of two dollars and seventy-five cents ($2.75) per hour shall be paid:

  • Shift Premium Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety-five cents (95c/ ) per hour for each hour worked between 1500 hours and 0700 hours provided that such hours exceed two (2) hours if worked in conjunction with the day shift.

  • Night Shift Employees who regularly work a full shift of eight (8) hours or more on night shift as defined in Section 12.6.1 (Types of Shifts), which includes four (4) hours or more between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 7:00 a.m., shall be paid their regular salary plus ten percent (10%) of their monthly salary per month, provided that in the case of any employee who is regularly assigned to night-shift work for less than an entire work week, the additional payment shall be made only for the portion of the work week worked on the night-shift assignment.

  • Night Shift Differential 1. An employee who works an assigned night shift shall, in addition to his or her regular salary, be paid a night shift differential for each hour actually worked on the assigned night shift.

  • Evening Shift The evening shift shall include all scheduled shifts where the majority of hours occur after 2:00 p.m.

  • Training Premium Qualified Operators selected by the Employer to train new Operators shall be paid a training premium of 40¢ per hour while engaged in training work.

  • Shift and Weekend Premium (a) Effective July 1, 2019, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety cents (90¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 hours and 0700 hours. Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety-five cents (95¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of hours of 1500 hours and 0700 hours.

  • Weekend Premium Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and ten cents ($1.10) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision.
