DISTRICT LEADERSHIP TEAM AND SCHOOL LEADERSHIP. TEAM (DLT/SLT)‌ The District shall maintain a District Leadership Team (DLT). The DLT shall be comprised of the SEA President or designee appointed by the SEA President, SEEO President or designee appointed by SEEO President and administrators appointed by the Superintendent or designee. Its purpose is to develop guidelines and support the School Leadership Teams. The DLT must meet monthly unless mutually agreed upon by all parties. The DLT will ensure that SEA/SEEO has representation on all district-level committees and task forces. The District shall maintain a School Leadership Team (SLT) at each school building. The SLT shall be comprised of at least seven (7) members and must include parents, assistant principal, principal, and a fair and equitable representation proportionate to the number of SEA staff and SEEO staff. An employee who is a parent of a child in the building in which they work cannot fill the parent position on SLT. The term of service for an SLT member is three (3) years with one-third (1/3) of the membership rotating off each year. Upon the completion of a three (3) year term, staff members must take a one (1) year hiatus from the committee before beginning a new term. In the event that no one expresses an interest in filling the vacated position, the outgoing member can volunteer to fill the vacancy for one (1) additional year. Following that one (1) year, they must rotate off for the one (1) year required hiatus. Any staff member may run for an open SLT position. All efforts will be made to have a diverse SLT membership. In the event that a specific association position is not filled, the position remains vacant until someone within that association volunteers or the next election takes place. The principal and assistant principal are the only permanent members of the SLT. The selection and replacement process for staff members must be by an all-school election to be completed by April 15 of each year. The current SLT shall provide minutes and run the election, making results available to all staff members. The purpose of an SLT is to improve communication and to empower each school to better address the unique needs of its students. SLT responsibilities shall include a review each trimester of the building discretionary funds available to professional development, clubs and such other areas as directly affect staff and discussion of appropriation of funds to responsibly meet the needs of the students, staff and community.   • Team Leaders 4.3.1 Team Leaders will be paid on the teachers’ scale according to their qualifications and length of service and in addition will be paid management units for responsibility.

  • Team Leader In each of the categories described above, a Team Leader, besides knowing all of the specialization and orientation of their category, must have proved certifiable, technical expertise and aptitude, show leadership capabilities in management, coordination, training and work team skills. On the basis of the aforesaid attributes, a person can be promoted to a higher position within the same category and shall be known as Team Leader.   • TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT 9.1 The Employer and the Union recognize the value and benefit of education and training designed to enhance an employee’s ability to perform their job duties. Training and employee development opportunities will be provided to employees in accordance with college/district policies and available resources.

  • Local Professional Development Committee 1. The Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) shall be established to oversee and review professional development plans pursuant to ORC 3319.22.

  • Training and Professional Development C. Maintain written program procedures covering these six (6) core activities. All procedures shall be consistent with the requirements of this Contract.

  • Professional Development Committee There shall be a Professional Development Committee composed of at least two (2) representatives of the Association and an equal number of representatives from the Hospital. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time.

  • Job Development Job development/placement is individualized and shall include weekly person-to-person job search assistance, assistance with identifying job leads, interview coaching and support, and maintaining a log of job search activities for the purposes of obtaining competitive integrated employment. By mutual consent of the consumer and the KARINA ASSOCIATION, INC. , these services may be provided in-person or by Skype, FaceTime, or other online communication tools. Job development/placement may also include arranging job trials/job shadowing for individuals with a DORS Trial Work Experience Plan, assistance with completing applications, assistance with employer follow-up after interviews, use of personal employment networks in job search, and resume update. It would include time spent calling employers, visiting and educating employers and similar activities. Job development/placement shall not be paid for using supported employment funding and shall not include the Discovery process, which is pre-vocational in nature and may be completed prior to job development. Up to 60 hours for job search assistance, authorized in 20-hour increments, may be used for job development. Additional hours of job development may be requested and require written justification by KARINA ASSOCIATION, INC. and approval of the DORS regional/program director. Authorizations for Job Development. DORS only pays for job development services which have been previously authorized by a DORS official. Job Development Reporting. The Employment Service Progress Form is expected to be submitted to DORS on a monthly basis per consumer. This form is available on the DORS website (xxx.xxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx).

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.
