City-Wide Seniority. City-wide seniority is defined as the length of employment with the City. Such seniority shall be acquired by full-time bargaining unit members after completion of a probationary period, at which time seniority shall be retroactive to the first day of employment.
City-Wide Seniority. A. City-wide seniority shall be the length of uninterrupted employment with the City commencing with the last date of hiring.
City-Wide Seniority. The Employer shall recognize city-wide seniority for the following:
City-Wide Seniority. City-wide Seniority is defined as all continuous full-time employment in a bargaining unit position beginning on the last date on which the full-time employee began to work as a full-time employee in a bargaining unit position with the following exception: in the event a full-time employee in a bargaining unit position is transferred into a non-bargaining unit position, and he/she returns to a bargaining unit position within twelve (12) calendar months following such transfer, the employee shall retain his/her previous City-wide Seniority. City-wide Seniority shall not accrue in a non-bargaining unit position.

In addition to the reasons stated in this Section 7.03, a full-time employee’s City-wide Seniority and Department Seniority shall terminate in the event the employee: (1) transfers or is promoted to a position other than one covered by this Agreement and fails to return to a bargaining unit position within 12 months following the promotion or transfer; or

  • Super Seniority In the event of a layoff, the Plant Chairperson, Committeepersons and Stewards shall have super seniority.

  • State Seniority State Seniority" is defined as the length of employment with the State of Minnesota since the last date of hire.

  • District Seniority District seniority is defined as the length of continuous paid employment with the District, calculated from the date of original hire, including the probationary period, if any, in a regular position.

  • Classification Seniority Classification Seniority" is defined as the length of service in a specific job classification within the bargaining unit, beginning with the date an employee starts to serve a probationary appointment. Classification Seniority shall be interrupted only by separation because of resignation, discharge for just cause, failure to return upon expiration of a leave of absence, failure to respond to a recall from layoff, or retirement.

  • CASUAL SENIORITY EMPLOYEE LIST On or before September 1, 2016, School Boards shall establish a seniority list for casual/temporary employees, where a list does not currently exist. This will be a separate list from permanent employees and shall have as its sole purpose to track length of service with the Board. Further, the list shall have no other force or effect on local collective agreements other than those that may already exist for casual/temporary employees in the 2008-12 local collective agreement.

  • Seniority Roster The District shall maintain an updated seniority roster, indicating employee's class seniority and hire date seniority. Such rosters shall be available to CSEA.

  • Departmental Seniority Departmental seniority is defined as the length of employment within the employee’s current department. Department seniority shall accrue as of the first day of employment or transfer into a new department.
