Promotion or Transfer. 17.3.1 Employees who are promoted or transferred to new positions will serve a three (3) month working trial period in the new positions before being confirmed in the appointment.

Promotion or Transfer. After a person with a disability is employed, the employer shall not be required under this chapter to promote or transfer the person to another job or occupation, unless, prior to the transfer, the person with the disability, by training or experience, is qualified for the job or occupation. Any collective bargaining agreement between an employer and labor organization shall contain this section as part of the agreement. Promotion or Transfer. In all cases of promotion, transfer or reassignment of work, seniority shall be the governing factor, provided that the employee with the most seniority has the qualifications, skill and ability to perform the job concerned.
Promotion or Transfer. The Authority shall consider applicants within the bargaining unit for whom a successful bid would result in a promotion or transfer (as defined herein) to a higher or equal rate classification. In cases of promotion or transfer, the following factors shall be considered:

Promotion or Transfer. If an employee participating in this program is promoted to another classification or transfers out of the work unit, the other program participant shall revert to full- time status unless another qualified employee indicates his/her interest and is approved to enter into the program.
Promotion or Transfer. 1. On promotion or transfer to another position, a permanent employee shall serve a three (3) month trial period in the new position before the appointment is confirmed. If the appointment is not confirmed the employee, without loss of seniority, shall revert to their former position or in the event such former position no longer exists, may be assigned to a position of equal value for which they are qualified. Employees may opt to go back to their previous position, during the trial period as long as the previous position has not been filled. (see Appendix XII)
Promotion or Transfer. In the event a bargaining unit employee who has been promoted or transferred within the bargaining unit is not able to perform in a manner acceptable to the University Library administration, the University will return the employee to their former position if it is still vacant. If it is not vacant, the University will rehire the employee when the next vacancy occurs that the employee is qualified to fill and provided such vacancy occurs within one year.
