Chemical Use. As part of the Employee's job, the Employee will come into contact with chemicals for time to time. The Employer shall provide appropriate equipment, information and training for dealing with the chemicals in question. The Employee shall take all reasonable precautions at all times when dealing with chemicals to ensure that safe and appropriate practices are followed. In addition, the Employee shall comply with all health and safety directions and policies of the Employer.

Chemical Use. No fertilizer, herbicide, pesticide, poison, chemical, or other foreign substance, except those approved by the United States Department of Agriculture and by the state of Oregon, and other relevant governmental agency or authority, as well as approved by CLIENT, shall be applied by MANAGER or any employee or agent or person acting on its behalf to the Property or crops growing thereon or brought onto or stored on the Property. The use of any such substance by MANAGER shall be in strict conformity with the manufacturer’s instructions and all governmental restrictions respecting the manner and timing of application thereof. All such pesticides, fertilizers, herbicides or other toxic or hazardous materials and containers in which they are shipped, stored or mixed shall be used, stored, handled and disposed in strict compliance with all applicable statutes and governmental regulations. MANAGER hereby expressly agrees to indemnify, defend, reimburse and CLIENT and the Property harmless from and against all loss, cost, damage, claims, expense or liability arising from or related to its or any of its employees’ or agent’s use, handling, mixing, storing or disposing of any such materials except as permitted in this Section 7. CLIENT shall have the right to inspect the Property from time to time to insure MANAGER’s compliance with this Section 7.

  • Residential Use; Pets The bedroom space and apartment may be used solely for private residential purposes and for no other purposes. Resident may not carry on any business or other enterprise from the bedroom space or apartment, nor use any Owner- provided Internet connections for business purposes. Resident may place no signs, placards or other advertisement of any character in the bedroom space or apartment, nor display anything in an apartment or bedroom space that is visible from outside the Property or the apartment. Resident may not store at the Property or connect to a Property electrical outlet any mobility device owned by a third party. Pets are permitted in or about the Property only in specified buildings as Owner may in its discretion allow residents to maintain, in each case only following Owner's signature on a Pet Addendum for a single dog or cat per designated apartment, which requires payment of a registration fee and pet rent as provided in the Pet Addendum. All other pets are prohibited anywhere at the Property, except fish in small tanks to the extent approved by Owner in its sole discretion. Violation of the pet policy will subject Resident to deep-cleaning and daily administration fees in Owner’s discretion and may be considered as a termination of this Housing Agreement by Resident.
