Drug Paraphernalia. Any item which is primarily intended or designed for use in the administering, ingesting, transferring, manufacturing, or storing of a controlled substance and / or an illicitly used drug.

When a student is found to be in possession of materials used as drug paraphernalia, including but not limited to rolling papers, xxxxx clips, stones, bongs, etc., the student shall be suspended according to the school suspension policy. The student shall also be referred to the school counselor or social worker.

Paraphernalia includes objects used to manufacture, compound, convert, produce, process, prepare, analyze, pack, repack, store, conceal, inject, ingest, inhale or otherwise provide a means to enter the human body. It is unlawful for any person to use, or to possess with intent to use, drug paraphernalia (Chapter 47, Uniform Controlled Substances Act, Sub-chapter V, §477l).
Drug Paraphernalia. D. Unauthorized prescriptiondrugs. Employees who violate these points and principles shall be subject to discipline up to and including immediate discharge.

Drug Paraphernalia. It is expected that there is no reason for you to be using or in possession of drug paraphernalia such as a bong while you are a resident of Hayward College. Therefore, these are prohibited and any resident found in possession of drug paraphernalia will face disciplinary action.
