Care of Equipment. Equipment can only be used in a careful and proper manner and shall not be used in any way that is inconsistent with Owner’s instructions or manuals.

Care of Equipment. 5.1. The Customer shall operate the Equipment with all reasonable care and in a manner designed to preserve it in full proper and efficient working order. Any nameplates or other marks attached to the Equipment shall be left intact and shall not be altered removed or defaced by the Customer and the Customer shall be responsible for any loss or damage to the Installation of any kind, whether or not the Customer has insurance cover, with the exception of any foreseeable loss or damage caused by the Company or its agents.

Provider agrees to bear the expense of repairing damage to the Equipment which occurs while the Equipment is in Provider's care, unless such damage is caused by Equipment malfunction which did not result from Provider's improper use of the Equipment.

The Student shall immediately notify the School’s Technology Department if the equipment is not in good operating condition or is in need of repair. Care of Equipment. The Equipment may only be used in a careful and proper manner. The Student shall keep the Equipment in good operating condition, allowing for reasonable wear and tear. The Student shall immediately notify the School’s IT Department if the Equipment is not in good operating condition or is in need of repair. The School maintains a service contract covering the Equipment. Indemnity of School for Loss or Damage: The undersigned are financially responsible for repairs due to negligence or willful destruction. The undersigned are financially responsible for accidental damage exceeding the cost of the purchase price. The Student agrees to properly care for the Equipment as outlined in the Student/Parent Handbook and shall not deface the Equipment. A Student who defaces the Equipment by affixing stickers, writing on it, etc. will face disciplinary consequences. If the Equipment can be restored to good condition, the Student will be required to do this and will be issued one demerit. If the Equipment is permanently defaced, the Student will be issued a minimum of three demerits and will be required to restore the Equipment to good condition to the extent possible. Because we would not be able to issue permanently defaced Equipment to another student, her parents will be required to purchase the Equipment at the pro-rated price if the Student withdraws before her graduation. Right of Inspection: The Student shall on demand make the Equipment available to the School’s IT Department as necessary for purposes of inspection, maintenance, repair, upgrading, and/or software installation during the School’s normal business hours. Loss: The Student assumes all risks of loss of the Equipment and agrees to return it to the School in the condition received from the School, with the exception of normal wear and tear. Warranty: Assumption High School honors HP’s warranty on all Tablet PCs. The School is not responsible for any damage or defect that does not fall within the scope of the manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty is voided if anyone other than the AHS IT Staff members open the case and attempts to service it. Entire Agreement and Modification: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. Care of Equipment. The Owner must ensure that any person engaged by or on behalf of the Owner to collect Port of Melbourne’s fresh potable water supply takes good care of them and returns them immediately after use in the same condition as supplied. Without limiting any rights of Port of Melbourne under Clause 10, the Owner is responsible for any damage to fresh potable water supply equipment and will bear the cost of any repair and/or replacement of such equipment.
