Unauthorized Use definition

Unauthorized Use means either of the following:
Unauthorized Use means the use of your Card and/or access code by a person, other than you, who does not have actual, implied, or apparent authority for such use, and from which use you receive no benefit.
Unauthorized Use means the use of a credit card which has occurred or may occur as the result of loss, theft or other wrongdoing, and which is by a person other than you or your agent, who does not have actual, implied or apparent authority for such use, and from which you receive no benefit.

  • Computation of assessed units for recovery of electricity charges in cases of Unauthorized Use of Electricity shall be undertaken based on the guidelines provided in Annexure XII (VII) of Appendix XII of the GTCS, and shall be attached with the Provisional Assessment order issued to the consumer.

  • We undertake and agree for recovery from the excess paid amounts, if any against services found to be under disconnection or services with or Unauthorized Use of Electricity cases or Theft of Electricity cases found, and also Against services clubbed for being in the same premises.

  • Where, at the same time, any consumer is found indulging in more than one instance of Unauthorized Use of Electricity and/ or Theft of Electricity and/ or unauthorized reconnection to a disconnected premises with regard to the same load, the compensation payable in respect of each instance of such cases shall be separately estimated and the consumer shall be required to pay only the highest of such compensation amounts.

  • The minimum charges shall also be payable by me/us even if electricity is not consumed because supply has been disconnected by the Company because of non- payment of electricity charges, Theft of Electricity or Unauthorized Use of Electricity or for any other valid reason.

  • The Provisional21 Assessing Officer as defined in clause 2.2.4 herein, shall make a provisional assessment of the electricity charges due to the Company on account of Unauthorized Use of Electricity, in accordance with Section 126 of the Act.


More Definitions of Unauthorized Use

Unauthorized Use means the use of your credit card by a person, other than you, who does not have actual, implied, or apparent authority for such use, and from which you receive no benefit. This additional limitation on liability does not apply to PIN-based transactions or transactions not processed by such Debit.
Unauthorized Use means (i) any attempt at or any action that results in circumventing the access controls or access policies of the HIE; (ii) use in violation of intellectual property, privacy, publicity, proprietary information rights and policies of others; and/or (iii) use other than in accordance with the express terms of these Terms and Conditions, the Policies and Procedures, the SHIN-NY Policy Guidance, or applicable law.
Unauthorized Use means use by a person other than you who does not have actual, implied or apparent authority for such use and from which you do not receive any benefit. Problems with a Purchase If you have problems with anything you buy using your Card or your Card number, you must settle the problem directly with the store or merchant. In some circumstances, we may be able to provide assistance in resolving disputed or declined transactions. Limitations on Our Liability We try to ensure that your Card and Card number are accepted when presented. However, we will not be liable to you for damages (including special, indirect or consequential damages) that may result if, for any reason, your Card or Card number is not accepted or you are unable to access your balance or any information about your Card. Amending or Cancelling this Agreement We may amend this Agreement at any time. If we increase a fee or establish a new fee, we will let you know by sending a notice to the most recent address we have for you at least 30 days in advance and by posting online at www.myrbcprepaid.com at least 60 days in advance. If we make any other type of amendment, we will let you know at least 30 days in advance by posting this information online at www.myrbcprepaid.com or, at our discretion, by sending you a written or electronic notice. If your Card or Card number is used after the Agreement is amended, it will mean you accept the amendments we have made. We may cancel this Agreement at any time without telling you in advance if we reasonably believe that (i) your Card or Card number is being or is likely to be misused; or (ii) you are in breach of this Agreement. In all other instances, we will let you know at least 30 days in advance by posting online at www.myrbcprepaid.com or, at our discretion, by sending you written or electronic notice, and you will be able to receive the balance on your Card by contacting us. This Agreement will also terminate when the balance on your Card is or becomes zero.
Unauthorized Use means the use of a"Computer System" by an unauthorized person or persons or by an authorized person or persons in an unauthorized manner.
Unauthorized Use means the use of your debit card by a person, other than you, who does not have actual, implied, or apparent authority for such use, and from which you receive no benefit. Remember to report your card lost or stolen or any unauthorized transactions immediately. This will help prevent unauthorized access to your account and minimize any inconvenience.
Unauthorized Use means use in a greater quantity, at a higher frequency, or for purposes other than as specified on the product’s label.
