Accidental Damage definition

Accidental Damage means physical damage, breakage or failure of Your Covered Equipment due to an unforeseen and unintentional event occurring either due to handling (e.g., dropping the Covered Equipment or through liquid contact) or due to an external event (e.g., extreme environmental or atmospheric conditions). The damage must affect the functionality of Your Covered Equipment, which includes cracks to the display screen that affect the visibility of the display.
Accidental Damage means destruction, loss or damage that is accidentally, suddenly, unintentionally and unexpectedly caused by an identifiable event (other than by a Listed Event under ‘What is covered’ or any event excluded by this Policy). Accidental Damage does not include the misplacement, or failure to locate any item nor unexplained disappearance of any item.
Accidental Damage means sudden, unexpected and unintentional external event that results in physical damage to the Covered Item. It also includes damage caused by spilled liquids and drops as well as screen damage. It does not include cosmetic damage such as scratches, peeling, dents or chips.

More Definitions of Accidental Damage

Accidental Damage means an unexpected and unintentional external event that results in physical damage to the insured product, including spilled liquids. The damage shall not be foreseeable and shall be beyond your control or the control of anyone you entrusted with the insured product.

Accidental Damage means: Physical loss, destruction of or damage to the Property Insured (subject to the Exclusions Applicable to Sections 1 and 2) arising out of any one source or original cause other than: fire, lightning, thunderbolt, earthquake, subterranean fire and/or volcanic eruption, aircraft and/or other aerial devices and/or articles dropped or falling therefrom and/or impact by space debris, sonic boom, explosion, implosion or collapse, smoke and/or steam, spontaneous fermentation or heating, spontaneous combustion, subsidence, earth movement or collapse resulting therefrom or landslip, flood, water from or action by the sea, tsunami, tidal wave or high water, storm, tempest, wind, hail and/or rainwater, water and/or other substance discharged, overflowing and/or leaking from apparatus, appliances, pipes, sprinkler and/or any other system(s), the acts of persons taking part in riots or civil commotions or the acts of strikers or locked out workers or persons taking part in labour disturbances, the acts of malicious persons, the acts of any lawfully constituted authority in connection with any of the aforementioned events, impact by any waterborne craft, land vehicles or animals, burglary, theft, loss of money, fraudulent or dishonest acts, fusion, or any other event or circumstance which is more specifically mentioned under any other Sub Limit of Liability and/or Deductible.
Accidental Damage means a sudden and unexpected unintentional loss or damage, provided that the loss or damage is not already covered by, or able to be insured by, or is not excluded by any other sections of the Policy irrespective of whether or not You have elected to insure under any or all of these sections.
Accidental Damage means damage caused by an unexpected and unintentional external event such as drops, cracks, and spills that occur during normal daily usage of the Mobile Device as the manufacturer intended.
