Administrative Appointment. Members of the administrative staff who have successfully completed the period of probation will be granted an administrative appointment to the College. Upon receiving administrative appointment the employee will receive an increase on base salary of $1,000 in the next year’s contract. Administrative appointments continue from year to year, assuming satisfactory service by the employee and continuation of the position.

Administrative Appointment. A teacher who accepts an administrative appointment with the Bedford Public Schools shall be granted a leave of absence from his/her teaching position for up to three years.

Administrative Appointment. Bargaining unit members of the Professional Association who have satisfactorily passed their probationary period shall receive a permanent/continuing appointment to their respective positions. See Appendix C for Administrative Appointment Eligibility Criteria for Professional Staff with Continuing Appointments as of August 31, 2008, to be implemented upon ratification of this Agreement. Such employees shall continue to hold their positions during good behavior, competent and efficient service and shall not be disciplined or removed from service except for incompetence, neglect of duty, insubordination, or misconduct. Conviction of a felony may be the basis for removal from service only when a sufficient nexus to the bargaining unit members’ job duties can be established by the College. See Article XVIII, Discipline, for the procedures to be followed for the discipline / removal of bargaining unit members with administrative appointments.

  • Term Appointments 16.3.4.1 A Term appointment carries no implication of renewal or continuation beyond the contractually limited term. A person holding a Term appointment may apply for a Probationary or Continuing appointment if such a position is available.

  • Designation and Appointment The Board may, from time to time, employ and retain Persons as may be necessary or appropriate for the conduct of the Company’s business (subject to the supervision and control of the Board), including employees, agents and other Persons (any of whom may be a Member or Director) who may be designated as Officers of the Company, with titles including but not limited to “chief executive officer,” “president,” “vice president,” “treasurer,” “secretary,” “general counsel” and “chief financial officer,” as and to the extent authorized by the Board. Any number of offices may be held by the same Person. In the Board’s discretion, the Board may choose not to fill any office for any period as it may deem advisable. Officers need not be residents of the State of Delaware or a Member. Any Officers so designated shall have such authority and perform such duties as the Board may, from time to time, delegate to them. The Board may assign titles to particular Officers. Each Officer shall hold office until his successor shall be duly designated and shall have qualified as an Officer or until his death or until he shall resign or shall have been removed in the manner hereinafter provided. The salaries or other compensation, if any, of the Officers of the Company shall be fixed from time to time by the Board.

  • Medical Appointments Medical appointments may be charged to sick leave, provided the minimum time charged is not less than one-half (1/2) hour. Each absence shall be reported separately and authorized in advance by the employee's immediate supervisor.

  • TERMINATION OF APPOINTMENT 6.1 The Issuer may terminate the appointment of the Calculation Agent at any time by giving to the Calculation Agent at least 45 days' prior written notice to that effect, provided that, so long as any of the Relevant Notes is outstanding:

  • ALPS Appointment and Duties (a) The Fund hereby appoints ALPS to provide the distribution services set forth in this Agreement on Appendix B, as amended from time to time, upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth.
