Administrative Appointments. 15.1 In-scope administrative appointments include, but are not limited to, Department Heads, Area Representatives, and the appointment of an Assistant Xxxx. A regular administrative appointment is made for a term of up to three years. When a vacancy exists, either because there is no incumbent or because the incumbent is temporarily absent, the College may make an acting appointment for a period of not more than twelve months.
Administrative Appointments a) The Xxxx may appoint a Teaching Faculty Member to an administrative position in a Faculty as an Assistant Xxxx, a Department Chair, a Program Director or a Program Coordinator. The Xxxx of the Faculty shall set out the duties of the position with the Teaching Faculty Member.
Administrative Appointments. 4.1 Members who are excluded from the Bargaining Unit because they hold an administrative position shall enter or re-enter the Bargaining Unit upon leaving the position excluding them, and shall then be entitled to the rights under this Agreement.
Administrative Appointments. 23.1 (i) The Centre for Education shall post all vacant and unfilled administrative and supervisory positions on the Centre for Education’s website for at least five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date of applications. The posting is to be a separate posting and clearly titled administrative postings.

In determining appointments for the positions of principal, head teacher, and any position which has responsibility for supervising teachers, the Superintendent will consult with a committee of teachers, chosen jointly by the Association and the Superintendent, representative of those who will be directly supervised by the person to be appointed.
Administrative Appointments. 17.01 Promotion of teachers to supervisory positions shall be based upon abilities, qualifications and experience.
Administrative Appointments a) When the Xxxx determines there is/are (a) need(s) for an administrative appointment(s) the Xxxx shall put out a call for faculty members to submit a notice of interest for the Xxxx’x consideration. When there are multiple expressions of interest for an administrative appointment the Xxxx shall strike a committee to review and recommend candidates for the position. The committee shall undergo training workshops which cover employment equity. The program of such workshops shall be established by the Committee on Employment Equity.

The posting is to be a separate posting and clearly titled administrative postings.
Administrative Appointments. (a) Academic staff members may hold administrative appointments as Department Chairs, Deans, Vice-Presidents and so on. These appointments are covered by separate policies, and are not categories of faculty appointment under this Agreement.
Administrative Appointments. The City may, from time to time, administratively appoint employees to administrative or specialist positions. Employees so appointed to the positions of Captain Xxxxxxxxx, Engineer Paramedic, or Administrative Fire Captain, shall serve at the discretion of the Fire Chief and may be returned to their regular position at any time as determined by the Fire Chief. An administrative appointment shall not affect the employee’s regular classification or rank. Persons administratively appointed shall retain their highest previous permanent classification and the anniversary date of their appointment to the permanent classification.
