Access to New Employees. ‌ Within ninety (90) days of a new employee’s start date, the Employer will provide the Union access to the employee’s regular worksite, for no less than thirty (30) minutes during the employee’s regular work hours, to present information about the Union and this Agreement. This presentation may occur during a new employee orientation provided by the Employer or at another time and location mutually agreed to by the Employer and the Union. No employee will be required to attend the presentation given by the Union.

Access to New Employees. Within ninety (90) days of a new employee’s start date the Agency will provide the Union access to the employee’s regular worksite for no less than thirty (30) minutes during the employee’s regular work hours to present information about the Union and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. This presentation may occur during a new employee orientation provided by the Agency or at another time and location mutually agreed to by the Agency and the Union. No employee will be required to attend the meetings or presentations given by the Union. When an agency provides new employee orientation on-line, the Employer agrees to provide each new bargaining unit employee with an orientation package provided by the Union.
Access to New Employees. During the academy training, Association representatives will be permitted access to new employees up to a two (2)-hour non-compensable period during a scheduled orientation. Such visit shall be scheduled for a classroom at the Academy or other training site, and shall be held during other than the lunch hour. Association members may remain at the Academy or other training site to further discuss the Association after the new employees regularly scheduled day ends. The Employer will make a good faith effort to encourage new employees to attend. The Association representatives will be permitted access to other new employees during their scheduled work day for purposes of orienting new bargaining unit employees about the Association.

The presentation may occur during a new employee orientation provided by the District, or at another time mutually agreed to by the District and Association. No employee may be mandated to attend the meetings or presentations by the Association. "Reasonable access" for the purposes of this section means: (a) The access to the new employee occurs within ninety days of the employee's start date within the bargaining unit; (b) The access is for no less than thirty minutes; and (c) The access occurs during the new employee's regular work hours at the employee's regular worksite, or at a location mutually agreed to by the District and Union.
Access to New Employees. During an employee’s first (1st) week of employment with the Criminal Justice Division, or as soon thereafter as is practical, a CIA representative will be permitted access to the new employee for up to one (1) hour. Such visit shall be scheduled for an office, classroom or other location within the Division facility, and shall be held during other than the lunch hour. The Employer will encourage new employees to attend the CIA’s orientation.
Access to New Employees. (a) For the purposes of facilitating the orientation of new Employees and in particular to familiarise such Employees with the operation of this Agreement, the ANF shall be provided, in writing on a quarterly basis, with the dates, times and venues of any orientation/induction programs involving nurses and be permitted to attend. If the dates of these programs are fixed in advance for a regular day and time then a list should be sent to the ANF as soon as practicable.

CCPOA representatives shall be allowed access to Correctional Peace Officer (CO) Cadets while at the CDC and CYA Academies for two (2) hours during the first week of each Academy cycle. The State agrees to provide meeting space at the place the cadets are assembled. CCPOA will provide the State the names of representatives who will be meeting with the new employees one (1) week in advance of the meeting. The time of this access shall be mutually agreed to between CCPOA representatives and the Director of the Academy.
