New Bargaining Unit Employees. The District shall provide to the Union a list of all employees covered by this Agreement on or before the 1st and the 15th day of the month. The notification will include name, position, school/department, and date of hire.
New Bargaining Unit Employees. In the event of a layoff, an individual who enters the bargaining unit between periodic Performance Management exercises shall automatically be assigned a retention rating of Category C until assigned a Performance Management rating, which shall be given no less than six (6) months after entering the Bargaining Unit. After being assigned a Performance Management rating, the rating shall be used until the employee has two or more ratings that could be averaged.
New Bargaining Unit Employees. Eligible bargaining unit employees will accrue CTO hours from the date of hire.

The College shall provide a designated representative of the Association with 60 minutes during regularly scheduled work hours, without loss of pay or benefits, within 30 days of each new bargaining unit employee’s start of bargaining unit work for the purpose of providing general information about the Association and its duties as exclusive bargaining agent.
New Bargaining Unit Employees. When the City engages new employees in Bargaining Unit positions, it shall notify the Union of the name, class, and department of all such new employees within ten (10) days of employment.

New Bargaining Unit Employees. All newly hired positions within the bargaining unit will be hired at Step 1 of the pay range for the classification of their position. However, a new employee with substantial prior experience or advanced credentials may be hired at a higher level. In such cases, the Director of Human Resources or their designee must specifically approve hiring any new employee above Step 1. Regardless of the situation, no newly hired bargaining unit member shall be placed at a pay rate that is more than two (2) steps above the beginning pay level for that classification.
New Bargaining Unit Employees. The Employer shall notify the Union of the names, addresses and job classifications of all new employees covered by this Agreement. Such lists shall be prepared at the request of the Union but no more frequently than once each calendar quarter.
