Union Leave Time. 1. The Board shall make available a total of twelve days (ninety-six (96) hours) of leave time per year to be used by Union officials. Time taken for Union business shall not be taken in blocks of less than two (2) hours at a time. Union Leave Time. The president of the UNION, and/or an elected delegate, shall have a total of ten (10) combined days leave time for the purpose of attending labor conferences or conventions or other Union business of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, as long as it does not interfere with the efficiency of the operation. The UNION president may leave his/her building to attend any BOARD meetings without having to make up his/her work, provided s/he will insure that his/her responsibilities are covered by himself or the remaining custodial staff in the building.
Union Leave Time. The Club officers shall be permitted a total of thirty (30) days per year, excused absence with pay, to attend to union business or to attend conferences.
Union Leave Time. Employees acting as Union stewards or officers of the Local or bargaining unit each shall be granted up to ten (10) consecutive business days without pay up to a total of thirty (30) days per year, per officer, for the purpose of attending Union functions, for all officers in accordance with the Employer's leave policy. Requests for such leave shall be made in writing in accordance with Article 22. Employer will grant a leave of absence to an employee for performing other Union business for up to a year. No compensation or benefits will be paid for any period of Union leave, nor will seniority continue to accrue. Union leave may be extended for up to an additional year by mutual agreement between the Union and the Employer. Only one employee may take Union leave at a time.
Union Leave Time. The president of the CSEA Unit shall be allowed time to administer union business.
Union Leave Time. 1. Upon notification to and approval by the Borough Administrator, the Union president, or his/her designee, shall have the privilege to leave his/her assigned work location at a reasonable time during working hours without loss of pay, with the understanding that such time will be reasonable in duration and scheduling and will be devoted solely to the proper handling of legitimate Union business. The Union agrees that it will notify the employer in writing as to the name of the employee designated to conduct such union business and the Union further agrees that the privilege of attending to legitimate union business during working hours shall not be abused.
