Allowed Time. When an employee who starts to work is released from duty (other than for disciplinary or personal reasons of the employee) prior to the end of his/her scheduled shift, he/she shall be paid for a full six (6) hours or for all hours worked, whichever is greater, at his/her standard hourly rate plus shift differential. Hours in scheduled education, safety, quality, training meetings, etc., will be counted toward the six (6) hours allowed time.
