Section 14.4. Political Action Committee. 2 The District shall, upon receipt of a written authorization form that conforms to legal requirements, 3 deduct from the pay of such bargaining unit employee the amount of contribution the employee 4 voluntarily chooses for deduction for political purposes and shall transmit the same to the Association 5 on a check separate from the dues transmittal check. Section 14.5. of the Collective Bargaining 6 Agreement shall apply to these deductions. The employee may revoke the request at any time. At 7 least annually, the employee shall be notified by the PSE State Office, about the right to revoke the 8 request and the employee’s rights regarding payroll deductions pursuant to WAC 000-00-000.

Newly hired employees who have not completed their probationary period do not have 37 grievance rights regarding discipline and discharge. 38

The 37 employee may revoke the request at any time. At least annually, the employee shall be notified by the 38 PSE State Office, about the right to revoke the request. 39

  • Joint Job Evaluation Committee The parties entered into agreement December 17, 1992, to ensure the Joint Gender- Neutral Job Evaluation Plan remains current and operational and to that end endorsed the Joint Gender-Neutral Job Evaluation Maintenance Agreement.   • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement. The number of representatives and the areas which they represent are set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions.

  • Grievance Committee The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee composed of the Chief Xxxxxxx and not more than (as set out in Local Provisions Appendix) employees selected by the Union who have completed their probationary period. A general representative of the Union may be present at any meeting of the Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to deal with complaints or grievances as set out in this Collective Agreement. The Union shall keep the Hospital notified in writing of the names of the members of the Grievance Committee appointed or selected under this Article as well as the effective date of their respective appointments. A Committee member shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during their regular scheduled working hours in attending grievance meetings with the Hospital up to, but not including arbitration. The number of employees on the Grievance Committee shall be determined locally.

  • Staffing Committee A. Responsibilities. The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.
