School Safety Plan. The Organizer shall amend its Application to set forth a detailed, specific school safety plan. The school safety plan shall include an emergency preparedness plan for the Charter School that meets the requirements set forth in 511 IAC § 6.1- 2-2.5. Before this Prior Action shall be deemed substantially completed, the Charter Schools Director shall have the opportunity to review and approve the proposed school safety plan. The Organizer shall submit its proposed school safety plan to the Charter Schools Director no later than July 15.

School Safety Plan. The Charter School shall develop a school safety plan prior to opening in accordance with the Start-Up Protocol and shall provide a copy of such plan to OCS and obtain approval of such plan from the Indiana Department of Education prior to opening or as soon thereafter as reasonably practicable. Such a safety plan shall, at a minimum, call for the minimum number of emergency preparedness drills required by Indiana law and, once approved, shall be attached hereto as Schedule 25.‌‌
School Safety Plan. The principal is charged with the responsibility of maintaining security, safety and discipline in the school. To meet this responsibility he/she shall develop in collaboration with the Union chapter committee and the parents association of the school a comprehensive safety plan, subject to the approval of the Chief Executive of School Safety and Planning. The safety plan will be updated annually using the same collaborative process, and reports of any incidents shall be shared with the chapter leader. A complaint by a teacher or the chapter leader that there has been a violation of the safety plan may be made to the principal as promptly as possible. He/she will attempt to resolve the complaint within 24 hours after receiving the complaint. If the teacher or chapter is not satisfied, an appeal may be made to the Chief Executive of School Safety and Planning who will arrange for a mediation session within 48 hours. If the teacher/chapter is not satisfied with the results of the mediation, an appeal may be made by an expedited arbitration process to be developed by the parties.

School Safety Plan. In order to prevent campus crime and violence and to promote safe educational conditions, each school district shall adopt a comprehensive “School Safety Plan.” ED. CODE § 35294 - 35294.9. The Plan must be drafted by the school site counsel, if one exists, or else by a school safety committee made up of at least the principal or designee, teacher’s union representative, classified employee union representative, and parent, in consultation with a representative from law enforcement. Prior to adoption of the Plan, the school site council or safety committee shall hold a public hearing at the school site. The Plan must be reviewed and updated by March 1 each year by the school site council or safety committee. A “School Safety Plan” shall include at least the following: * An assessment of the current status of crime committed on school campuses and at school-related functions; * Appropriate strategies that will provide or maintain a high level of school safety; * School procedures for complying with all of the following laws relating to school safety: Child Abuse reporting procedures; Disaster and emergency procedures; Procedures to notify teachers of dangerous pupils; A discrimination and harassment policy; A dress code that prohibits wearing “gang related apparel,” if the school has adopted one; Procedures for safe and orderly ingress and egress to and from school; A safe and orderly environment; Rules and procedures on school discipline; and Ed.   • Health & Safety (a) The Employer and the Union agree that they mutually desire to maintain standards of safety and health in the Home, in order to prevent injury and illness and abide by the Occupational Health and Safety Act as amended from time to time.

  • COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards. Contractor deficiencies which the County determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Contract in jeopardy if not corrected will be reported to the Board of Supervisors. The report will include improvement/corrective action measures taken by the County and the Contractor. If improvement does not occur consistent with the corrective action measures, the County may terminate this Contract or impose other penalties as specified in this Contract.

  • SAFETY & HEALTH The Employer and the IBTCoalition agree that the safety of employees and the general public is of utmost importance. Therefore, the Employer shall provide a safe work environment that is free of recognized hazards that could cause death, injury or illness.

  • Employee Safety A. Any employee who is injured or who is involved in an accident during the course of his/her employment, no matter how slight the injury, shall file an accident report with the designated supervisor, as soon as possible after the injury and prior to the conclusion of the employee's work day, whenever possible. While the initial report may be given orally, it must be followed up within 48 hours with a written report on the First Report of Injury form which shall be submitted to the appropriate administrator/supervisor who shall then submit it to the appropriate Human Resources Department.

  • Occupational Health & Safety (a) It is a mutual interest of the parties to promote health and safety in workplaces and to prevent and reduce the occurrence of workplace injuries and occupational diseases. The parties agree that health and safety is of the utmost importance and agree to promote health and safety and wellness throughout the organization. The employer shall provide orientation and training in health and safety to new and current employees on an ongoing basis, and employees shall attend required health and safety training sessions. Accordingly, the parties fully endorse the responsibilities of employer and employee under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, making particular reference to the following:

  • Safety Program The Contractor shall design a specific safety program for the Work for the site(s). The Contractor shall establish and require all Subcontractors to establish reasonable safety programs. The Contractor shall also submit its standard monthly safety reports to the Owner and Design Professional. No imposition of responsibility on the Contractor for safety under this Contract shall relieve any subcontractor of its responsibility for safety of persons or property on or near the Project Site. The Contractor shall include in his plant he names of the person in charge of Safety.

  • Quality Assurance Program An employee shall be entitled to leave of absence without loss of earnings from her or his regularly scheduled working hours for the purpose of writing examinations required by the College of Nurses of Ontario arising out of the Quality Assurance Program.
