Salary and Overtime. (i) Temporary members shall be paid on an hourly basis at the hourly rate of the appropriate salary range shown in Schedule “A”. Temporary members will be entitled to overtime in accordance with Article 10 of the Working Agreement. Those members working full-time hours on a 12 hour shift shall be entitled to accrued time in accordance with the Civilian Working Agreement, except that such entitlement shall be pro-rated where a member works only part of a year. Temporary members on part-time hours (ie. job sharing) shall be paid for hours worked and shall only be entitled to overtime for hours exceeding both their regular hours in a day and 24 hours in a week.

Salary and Overtime. The District shall not assume any liability for the direct payment of any salaries, wages, or other compensation to an SRO performing the Services provided hereunder. The City shall be responsible for any cost of overtime as authorized by the chain of command of the SROs for work not covered within the scope of Services defined in Exhibit A. The District shall be responsible for any off-duty employment costs. Off-duty employment agreements shall be between the District and the City using the City’s standard agreement. Except as otherwise specified herein, the District shall not be liable for compensation for wages or indemnity to any City employee for injury or sickness arising out of his/her employment pursuant to this Agreement, except for any injury or sickness that occurs as a result of the District’s negligent or intentional acts.
Salary and Overtime. It is the intent of the full-time dispatcher pay schedules to meet the fluctuating workweek provisions of the FLSA whereby the employee receives a fixed weekly salary regardless of the number of hours that the employee works during the week. Overtime compensation for hours worked in addition to their regularly scheduled hours (84 hrs per pay period) will be at the following rate: Non-uniform and uniform LEOFF II personnel - 1.62 times their hourly rate.   • Salary and Allowances A Teacher on part-time assignment shall be paid according to the salary schedule and allowances in this Collective Agreement, pro-rated unless otherwise specified in this agreement.

  • WORK WEEK AND OVERTIME Section 1. The normal work week will consist of forty (40) hours. Department management will establish the work week and hours of work best suited to meet the needs of the Department and provide superior service to the community. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as a guarantee or limitation of the number of hours to be worked per week.

The regular hours of work may be changed by the Company at the request or direction of the public utility or governmental authorities, and by mutual agreement between the Company and the Union. The Company may change the start times by 30 minutes in either direction of the regular start time to meet the operational need without union approval. Such a change in the regular hours of work shall not be deemed to require the payment of overtime.
