REPLACEMENT OF PERSONAL ITEMS. Section 1. The City shall provide for the repair or replacement of personal property lost or damaged in the performance of duty. Items of personal property and dollar ceilings shall be limited to the following: Eyeglasses and contact lenses = full cost. Hearing aids = not to exceed $500.00.
REPLACEMENT OF PERSONAL ITEMS. There shall be no replacement of personal items damaged in the performance of the employee’s duties except at the sole discretion of the Employer, but in no event shall the Employer pay over fifty dollars ($50.00) for any replacement. The only exception to this shall be for prescription eyeglasses which are damaged in the course of an emergency response or providing patient care. Upon presentation of verification of damage and receipt for replacement, the Employer may reimburse the employee the full cost of replacement of the same lenses and/or frame or repair to same.

REPLACEMENT OF PERSONAL ITEMS. The Employer shall provide all necessary equipment needed to perform the job as required by County EMS. The Employer agrees to repair or replace personal items worn by the employee that are damaged in the performance of the employees’ duties. The Employer shall not pay more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for any repair or replacement, except for prescription eyeglasses damaged in the course of an emergency response or while providing patient care. The Employer agrees to pay up to the approved allowance of the Employer’s Vision provided insurance in the event that repair or replacement is needed for prescription glasses.

Personal articles not covered by another insurance plan that are destroyed, damaged, or stolen in the line of duty will be replaced or repaired by the Employer at the Employer’s expense. Personal articles are defined as watches, eye glasses, dentures, contact lenses and any other article approved by the Employer.
REPLACEMENT OF PERSONAL ITEMS. The Board agrees to pay reasonable costs (excluding normal wear and tear) for replacement of personal items damaged or destroyed during performance of required duties.

The District will repair or replace, with a like item, an employee’s eye wear or watch damaged while acting in the scope of active fire fighting and/or training duties up to the maximum per item amounts stated below, and provided the item(s) is not covered by insurance. Eyeglass frames $75.00 Eyeglass lenses $75.00 Watch $50.00 The District shall not be responsible for the repair or replacement of an employee’s personal items damaged or lost through the negligence or neglect of the employee.
REPLACEMENT OF PERSONAL ITEMS. 4 The City will bear the replacement costs of approved personal items, excluding items covered 5 by the clothing allowance that are owned by the employee and that are lost or damaged while 6 on duty, and are not reimbursed by another entity, in an amount not to exceed two hundred 7 dollars ($200.00). 9 ARTICLE 42 10 REIMBURSEMENT FOR BUSINESS TRAVEL 11 12 Bargaining unit members who have been previously authorized by the Mayor or Safety Director to 13 travel on City business outside the City in the employee's personal automobile shall be reimbursed 14 for such travel at the prevailing Internal Revenue Service amount. 16 An employee traveling on City business outside the City shall be reimbursed for reasonable and 17 necessary meal and lodging expenses which were previously authorized by the Mayor or Safety 18 Director. 19 ARTICLE 43
REPLACEMENT OF PERSONAL ITEMS. If an employee's eyeglasses, contact lenses, dentures, hearing aid or artificial limb is destroyed or lost as a result of the employee performing his assigned job duties, the City may, if, in the City's sole discretion, the employee was acting in good faith and was performing his job in a safe and appropriate manner, assist the employee in the replacement of said personal item. The assistance in replacement shall be limited to the prorated remaining expected useful life of the item in question. The employee shall be required to provide proof of the original date of purchase of the item in question, together with a copy of the invoice for the replacement item.
