Assistance means cash and any other benefits provided pursuant to this chapter.
Technical assistance means any technical support related to repairs, development, manufacture, assembly, testing, maintenance, or any other technical service, and may take forms such as instruction, advice, training, transmission of working knowledge or skills or consulting services; including verbal forms of assistance;
Directory Assistance Database refers to any subscriber record used by Sprint in its provision of live or automated operator-assisted directory assistance including but not limited to 411, 555-1212, NPA-555-1212.
Medical Assistance Program means the medical assistance provided pursuant to Chapter 319v of the Connecticut General Statutes (CGS) and authorized by Title XIX of the Social Security Act. The program is also referred to as Medicaid.
Directory Assistance Lists shall have the meaning set forth in Section 10.6.1.1.
Dependent care assistance program or "DCAP" means a benefit plan whereby school employees may pay for certain employment related dependent care with pretax dollars as provided in the salary reduction plan under chapter 41.05 RCW pursuant to 26 U.S.C. Sec. 129 or other sections of the Internal Revenue Code.
Termination Assistance Services means (a) the Services being performed (and required under this Agreement to be performed) by AMD as of the date of expiration or termination of this Agreement, to the extent Spansion requests such Services during the applicable Termination Assistance Period; (b) AMD’s cooperation with Spansion, or another service provider designated by Spansion in the transfer of the Services (or portion thereof, as applicable) to Spansion or such other service provider in order to facilitate the smooth and orderly transition of the Services (or portion thereof, as applicable) to Spansion or such other service provider; (c) AMD developing, with the cooperation of Spansion, and subject to the approval of Spansion, a plan for the smooth and orderly transition of the performance of the Services (or portion thereof, as applicable) from AMD to Spansion or to a third party designated by Spansion; (d) AMD providing reasonable training for personnel of Spansion or Spansion’s designee in the performance of the Services then being transitioned to Spansion; and (e) AMD performing the other services, functions, and responsibilities described in Section 14.
Medical assistance means so much of the medical, mental health, preventive, supportive, palliative and remedial care and services as may be prescribed by the authority according to the standards established pursuant to ORS 414.065, including premium assistance and payments made for services provided under an insurance or other contractual arrangement and money paid directly to the recipient for the purchase of health services and for services described in ORS 414.710.
Training means the reasonable costs associated with training and workshop participation under the Project, consisting of travel and subsistence costs for training participants, costs associated with securing the services of trainers, rental of training facilities, preparation and reproduction of training materials, and other costs directly related to course or workshop preparation and implementation.
Routine patient care costs means Covered Medical Expenses which are typically provided absent a clinical trial and not otherwise excluded under the Policy. Routine patient care costs do not include:
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families or "TANF" means the program administered by the Department through which a relative can receive monthly cash assistance for the support of his eligible children.
Transition training means written and verbal instructions
Customer Specific Training means a private Course organized on demand specifically for Customer.
Distance education means: instruction offered by any means where the student and faculty member are in separate physical locations. It includes, but is not limited to, online, interactive video and correspondence courses or programs.
Technical Support Services means the remote telephonic support provided by Seller on a standard and centralized basis concerning the Products, including diagnostic services and troubleshooting to assist Customer in ascertaining the nature of a problem being experienced by the Customer, minor assistance concerning the use of the Software (including advising or assisting the Customer in attempting data/database recovery, database set up, client-server advice), and assistance or advice on installation of Releases provided under this Agreement.
Cash assistance means cash benefits provided under the family independence program, the refugee assistance program, or state disability assistance.
Extracurricular activities means: a voluntary activity sponsored by the school or local education agency or an organization sanctioned by the local education agency. Extracurricular activities include, but are not limited to, preparation for and involvement in public performances, contests, athletic competitions, demonstrations, displays, and club activities.
Physical therapist assistant means an individual who is licensed/certified by a state and who assists the physical therapist in selected components of physical therapy.
Directory Assistance Service includes, but is not limited to, making available to callers, upon request, information contained in the Directory Assistance Database. Directory Assistance Service includes, where available, the option to complete the call at the caller's direction. "Directory Listings" or "Listings" are any information identifying the listed names of subscribers of a Telecommunications Carrier and such subscribers' telephone numbers, addresses, or primary advertising classifications (as such classifications are assigned at the time of the establishment of such service), or any combination of such listed names, numbers, addresses or classifications: (1) that the Telecommunications Carrier provides or uses for the purpose of publishing the Listings in any directory format; or (2) that the Telecommunications Carrier provides or uses in Directory Assistance Service, Directory Assistance List Service, or for other lawful purposes.
Travel training means providing instruction, as appropriate, to children with significant cognitive disabilities, and any other children with disabilities who require this instruction, to enable them to:
Hosting means Epoch Hosting, Inc., a Delaware corporation.
Basic Comprehensive User Guide means the Ministry document titled Basic Comprehensive Certificates of Approval (Air) User Guide” dated April 2004 as amended.
Contract Services means the Services to be supplied by the Supplier to the Customer as set out in the Letter of Appointment;
Inpatient care means treatment for which the insured person has to stay in a hospital for more than 24 hours for a covered event.
Public assistance means Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF); auxiliary grants to the aged, blind and disabled; medical assistance; energy assistance; food stamps; employment services; child care; and general relief.
