Present Situation.  Regulation The Law on organic agriculture (OG N° 146/2009 from 01/01/2010 is fully harmonized with new EU regulation (EC) 834/2007 and 889/2007).

Present Situation. The RMCT was originally signed in 2007 and required updating. The protocol represents an agreement among participating agencies concerning the manner in which law enforcement employee-involved fatal or serious injury incidents, major crimes, or other serious incidents, and/or special requests are investigated within ▇▇▇▇▇ and Skamania Counties. Policy amendments were made to the RMCT agreement per the recommendation of subject matter experts to reflect work performed and enhance cooperation and understanding among participating agencies.

Present Situation a) The sale of By the River to CHO BTR, LLC was completed on December 19, 2017.

Present Situation. The Vancouver Watersheds Alliance (VWA, formerly the Vancouver Watersheds Council) is a 501(c)(3) entity that was initially created by the City in part to comply with the settlement of a Clean Water Act lawsuit and for the purpose of furthering the City’s goals of environmental preservation and restoration in both riparian and upland areas through engagement and participation of the Vancouver community. The VWA provides ongoing education and outreach efforts to inform the public on topics related to environmental and water quality issues and this supports the City’s surface water program in meeting its NPDES permit requirements (specifically, S5.C.i education & outreach and S5C.2.a public participation and involvement). The new five-year agreement utilizes a direct grant approach which supports the organization in continuing to address the City’s intended outcomes while being accountable for meeting specific deliverables and standards. Quarterly reporting will keep the City’s program staff informed of key VWA accomplishments and the steady progress being made on City priorities. Quarterly reporting is simplified, and timely completion of reports is a criterion for initiating subsequent quarterly grant payments.

Present Situation. In this part 13 questions were offered for agreement of evaluation (table 18, 19 and figure 9). Only one of them - a better organization of the supply chain is necessary (Q.152) reached the consensus in all the countries. The greatest number of consensus was found in Montenegro – 9 questions among 13 reached consensus. Croatia and Serbia follow with 8 scored questions. Present Situation. 6.1.1 The parties have been in dispute over various aspects of the contract in the recent years, and this dispute has originated the following legal actions still pending:  6.1.1.1 Executive action n2 3.540 of the 2nd section of the 13th Lisbon Civil Court and respective process of opposition (embargo);

Present Situation. On the level of the WBC highest consensus is obtained in the motivation of the producers themselves (Q.21) – 98%. Second one is necessity for teaching and training for organic farming (Q.31) with score of 95%, followed by necessity for financial consolidation of organic farms (Q.25) with score of 88%. Obtained consensus levels are very high. The same situation will be later noted in the case of future prediction. Among 15 offered questions B&H reached consensus with 10 questions; Croatia with 12; Macedonia with 11; Montenegro with 10; Serbia with 13; Slovenia with 10 and WBC with 12. (as it is presented in table 6, 7 and figure 3).

Present Situation. Results for this Part are presented in tables 14, 15 and figure 7. Among 17 offered questions nearly all of them reached consensus for the present situation and the future. There is one discrepancy from this in the case of statement that “organic farming is a success factor for agricultural sector in all WBC countries”. There are big differences in opinion between countries of Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and B&H, Croatia, Slovenia regarding “organic farming will spread in all WB countries”. The first group of countries is optimistic and the second group is pessimistic (present situation). For the future prediction all of them proved to be very optimistic. Present Situation.  Regulation The Law on Organic Agriculture was adopted in 2004. It provides a legal framework according to the EU Council Regulation 2092/91. Laws were enacted in 2005 and 2006, which enable coordination with European and international standards. A revision of the law is under preparation. Certification body: MonteOrganica. Governmental support of organic farming: subsidies for producers, financing of the certification body. National label for organic products exist. Currently two international projects are implemented to stimulate organic production.
