Participation/Eligibility. Employees with more than ten (10) days of accumulated Sick Leave and at least one (1) year of service (at least 75% of the school year) in the District may participate in the Catastrophic Leave Bank. Employees who elect to join the Catastrophic Leave Bank may join the bank only during open enrollment periods and must have a waiting period of thirty (30) calendar days after joining the bank before becoming eligible to withdraw from it. The Catastrophic Leave Bank shall not be available to any employee during a leave absence. Employees returning from a Board approved extended leave of absence shall have thirty (30) calendar days from the first day of employment to sign up for participation in the Catastrophic Leave Bank if the open enrollment period has expired.

New unit members upon completion of probation and unit members returning from a Board-approved extended leave of absence shall have thirty (30) calendar days from the first day of employment to sign up for participation in the Catastrophic Leave Bank if the open enrollment period has expired.
Participation/Eligibility. All officers are required to participate in this program. The program will be administered as part of the in-service training program of the Naperville Police Department but is subject to change if the in-service format is changed. Because the exercises in the program involve strenuous physical exertion, all officers will be required to obtain a written Medical Release from the Xxxxxx Hospital Corporate Health or from their personal physician. The signed release must be dated within 120 days of the actual fitness testing. The Medical Release form is attached hereto as Appendix I. Officers who elect to obtain their medical releases from their personal physicians may do so at their own cost. On-duty officers may obtain their medical waivers from Xxxxxx Hospital Corporate Health or from their personal physician (if located within the City of Naperville) with proper supervisory notification and approval as outlined in Section 16.9, Changes in Normal Workweek and Workday of the parties' collective bargaining agreement. There will be every attempt to complete every aspect of this program during normal work hours. Officers will be compensated for all hours spent participating in this program in accordance with Article 24 of the collective bargaining agreement, except if they elect to use their own physician outside of Naperville. The parties recognize that there may be officers who will not be able to obtain medical clearance to participate in the program. If an officer is medically precluded from participating in any program exercise, he or she shall submit to a complete physical examination through the City or through his or her personal physician to determine what actions must take place in order to participate and if the officer is able to work in a full-duty capacity. He or she will need to be medically cleared for duty if unable to participate in any of the listed exercises.
Participation/Eligibility. Each Employee who was a Participant in the ACCG Plan on the day before the Effective Date of this Plan shall be a Participant in this Plan. Each Employee listed in Section 1.25(c) employed before January 1, 2007, is eligible to participate as of his Employment Commencement Date. No Employee hired on or after January 1, 2007 shall be eligible to participate in this Plan. An Employee who has a termination date prior to December 31, 2006 with a Reemployment Commencement Date on or before December 31, 2007 shall be eligible to resume participation in the Plan provided he has not incurred a one-year Break in Service and follows the applicable situation in Section 2.02. Notwithstanding the foregoing, effective January 1, 2008, only Employees who are Participants in the Plan on December 31, 2007 shall be eligible to participate in the Plan.
