Open Enrollment Period definition

Open Enrollment Period means an enrollment period during which time any Eligible Employee and/or Dependent may apply to become a Subscriber and/or Covered Dependent, and existing Subscribers may apply to change to another provider network or coverage option, if available, or elect to terminate coverage.
Open Enrollment Period means with respect to a Plan Year the month preceding the Plan Year, or such other period as may be prescribed by the Plan Administrator.
Open Enrollment Period means the time frame specified by the Plan Administrator.

  • You can end your membership in our plan during the Annual Enrollment Period (also known as the Annual Open Enrollment Period).

  • If written notification to add a newborn Child is received by the Plan Administrator AFTER the 31 day period immediately following the Child’s date of birth, the Child is considered a Late Enrollee and not eligible for the Plan until the next Annual Open Enrollment Period.

More Definitions of Open Enrollment Period

Open Enrollment Period means the period designated by the Administrative Committee for electing deferrals for the following Plan Year.

Open Enrollment Period with respect to a Plan Year means any period before the beginning of the Plan Year that may be prescribed by the Administrator as the period of time in which Employees who will be Eligible Employees at the beginning of the Plan Year may elect benefits.
