Section 16.9. 2 There could be up to five (5) days per year that Food Service employees would not work if school 3 lunches were not served at a school site and therefore a given employee’s services were not necessary.
Section 16.9. 32 Employees required to remain overnight on District business shall be reimbursed for room and board 33 expenditures according to District policies and procedures.
Section 16.9. 3 Employees assigned specific duties training or mentoring new employees or substitutes shall be paid an 4 additional $0.35 per hour for the hours actually spent training or mentoring.
Section 16.9. 46 Prescription safety glasses shall be provided by the District to those employees whose job requires the 47 use of safety glasses, and when the employee’s vision requires corrective lenses as part of their daily 48 living. 1 Each member of the Technology Department, excluding the help desk position and Student 2 information Systems shall be entitled to a stipend of $50 per month for the use of their personal phone. 4 Staff hired prior to February 1, 2018 shall be grandfathered and may continue to receive existing 5 stipends for possessing a recognized apprenticeship, Associate of Arts Degree, and/or Bachelor of Arts
Section 16.9. 40 Employees required to remain overnight on District business shall be reimbursed in accordance with 41 District policy.
Section 16.9. 36 Current employees who request to substitute at the discretion of the District will be paid no less than 37 the substitute rate for the position in which they are subbing. Section 16.9. 13 Employees will be reimbursed the cost of pre-employment fingerprinting clearance upon successful 14 completion of the probation period. 16 17 18 ARTICLE XVII 19 20 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT 21 22 Section 17.1. 23 One (1) training day will be offered by the District at no cost to the employee prior to the opening of 24 the school year. This training opportunity shall align with one of the District-directed certificated TRI 25 days as scheduled on the District approved calendar.
Section 16.9. 21 Each employee shall be reimbursed annually up to $200.00 upon submission of receipts for safety and 22 work-related clothing and footwear. Safety footwear is any steel-toed footwear or work style boot, 23 leather or leather-like that provides ankle support. The District will provide standard operating 24 procedures for obtaining reimbursement. Section 16.9. 35 Employees working in the Grounds, Maintenance, Custodial and Mechanic classification may receive 36 up to two-hundred dollars ($200) every other school year for work related boots. Work boots must 37 meet OSHA standards. Employees shall submit an original itemized receipt for reimbursement. Shoes 38 purchased and provided by the district shall be worn by the employee during their shift or while on 39 duty. 41 Section 16.10. 42 Employees in the Food Service classification may receive up to one-hundred dollars ($100) every other 43 school year for approved slip resistant shoes. Food Service shoes must meet Kitchen/Restaurant 44 standards with leather or composite material, ankle and arch support, protective toe and insole, and slip 45 resistant material on the soles designed to grab the floor surface. Footwear must cover the entire foot 46 and open-toe shoes are not allowed. Employees shall submit an original itemized receipt for 47 reimbursement. Shoes purchased and provided by the district shall be worn by the employee during 48 their shift or while on duty.
Section 16.9. 13 Reimbursement for all allowances in this Section are to be submitted by the employee via an Expense 14 Claim signed by the employee’s applicable Department Director or Supervisor, unless otherwise noted 15 in the specific sub section:
