ON CALL/STANDBY COMPENSATION. Any employee in this bargaining unit shall receive standby compensation at the rates specified below when assigned by management to standby during their off hours.

Effective January 1, 2007, the amount of compensation paid to eligible employees under this Article shall increase from $12.50 to $24.00 for each day of such assignment.
