Hazardous Waste definition

Hazardous Waste means the substances regulated as such pursuant to any Environmental Law.
Hazardous Waste means any substance or material regulated or designated as such pursuant to any Environmental Law, including without limitation, pollutants, contaminants, flammable substances and materials, explosives, radioactive materials, oil, petroleum and petroleum products, chemical liquids and solids, polychlorinated biphenyls, asbestos, toxic substances, and similar substances and materials.
Hazardous Waste means those wastes designated as hazardous by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations in 40 CFR Part 261.

Examples of Hazardous Waste in a sentence

  • If FRANCHISEE determines that material placed in any Container for collection is Hazardous Waste, or other material that may not legally be accepted at the Disposal Facility or one of the Processing Facilities, or presents a hazard to FRANCHISEE'S employees, the FRANCHISEE shall have the right to refuse to accept such material.

  • Municipal Solid Waste does not include Construction and Demolition Waste, Hazardous Waste or Household Hazardous Waste.

More Definitions of Hazardous Waste

Hazardous Waste means and include any hazardous waste as defined or regulated under any Environmental Law; (iii) "Environmental Law" shall mean any environmental or health and safety-related law, regulation, rule, ordinance, or by-law at the foreign, federal, state, or local level, whether existing as of the date hereof, previously enforced, or subsequently enacted; and (iv) "Seller" shall mean and include Seller and all other entities for whose conduct Seller is or may be held responsible under any Environmental Law.

Hazardous Waste means waste with inherent properties which make such waste dangerous to manage by ordinary means, including, but not limited to chemicals and other wastes defined as hazardous at any time during the term of this Agreement by the State of [name of state where Facility located] or by any applicable federal, state or local laws, ordinances, regulations, orders or other actions promulgated or taken with respect thereto..
Hazardous Waste has the meaning ascribed to such term in the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (42 U.S.C. §§ 6901 et. seq.).
