Hazardous Waste definition

Hazardous Waste means any substance or material regulated or designated as such pursuant to any Environmental Law, including without limitation, pollutants, contaminants, flammable substances and materials, explosives, radioactive materials, oil, petroleum and petroleum products, chemical liquids and solids, polychlorinated biphenyls, asbestos, toxic substances, and similar substances and materials.
Hazardous Waste means the substances regulated as such pursuant to any Environmental Law.
Hazardous Waste means those wastes designated as hazardous by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations in 40 CFR Part 261.

More Definitions of Hazardous Waste

Hazardous Waste means “hazardous waste”, as defined in the Resource Conversation and Recovery Act of 1976 and the Solid Waste Disposal Act (42 U.S.C. 6901 et seq.) and any successor statutes and any regulations, rules or guidelines promulgated pursuant thereto as in effect from time to time (including, without limitation, any such waste resulting from removal of, demolition of, modifications of or additions to part or all of any existing structure, facility or equipment) .
Hazardous Waste means and include any hazardous waste as defined or regulated under any Environmental Law; (iii) "Environmental Law" shall mean any environmental or health and safety-related law, regulation, rule, ordinance, or by-law at the foreign, federal, state, or local level, whether existing as of the date hereof, previously enforced, or subsequently enacted; and (iv) "Seller" shall mean and include Seller and all other entities for whose conduct Seller is or may be held responsible under any Environmental Law.
Hazardous Waste means a solid waste or combination of solid wastes other than household waste that, because of its quantity, concentration, or physical, chemical, or infectious characteristics may cause or significantly contribute to an increase in mortality or an increase in serious irreversible or incapacitating reversible illness or may pose a substantial present or potential hazard to human health or the environment when improperly treated, stored, transported, disposed of, or otherwise managed.
Hazardous Waste has the meaning ascribed to such term in the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (42 U.S.C. §§ 6901 et. seq.).
Hazardous Waste has the meaning set forth in 42 U.S.C. §6903(5) and shall also include each other substance considered to be a hazardous waste under any Environmental Protection Statute (including, without limitation, 40 C.F.R. §261.3).
Hazardous Waste means hazardous waste as defined in Chapter 3734. of the Revised Code and includes waste that is listed specifically as hazardous waste or exhibits one or more characteristics of hazardous waste as defined in Chapter 3745-51 of the Administrative Code.
