Notification to the Union. The Employer shall advise the Union of the appointment, termination, or change of status of each Employee in the bargaining unit in accordance with Article 8.06.

For critical injuries the employer will notify the JHSC and the Union immediately and in writing within 48 hours. Such notices will contain all of the information as prescribed in section 5 of the health care regulation.

The Employer will notify the President of the Union of pending layoffs described in Subsection 35.4 A, B and C at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the effective date of the reduction in force. Upon request, the Employer will discuss impacts to the bargaining unit with the Union. The discussion will not serve to delay the onset of a layoff unless the Employer elects to do so.
