Reduced Hours. 1. A full time employee(s) whose regularly scheduled daily/weekly working hours have been reduced shall have the following bumping rights:

Reduced Hours. If possible, the Human Resources Department shall notify the Association of all reductions in normal work hours prior to Assistants being notified, even where such reductions do not constitute a layoff. At the request of the Association, a Special Conference shall occur to discuss such reductions. Affected Assistants shall be given at least seven (7) calendar days' written notice prior to a reduction in their hours taking effect. Seniority shall be one of the factors considered prior to reduction of hours being determined.
Reduced Hours. Where, for reasons pertaining to the pregnancy, an employee on medical advice and with the consent of the employer, elects to work reduced hours at any time prior to confinement, then the guaranteed proportion of full-time employment after parental leave shall be the same as that immediately prior to such enforced reduction in hours.
Reduced Hours. Full-time employees reduced to less than twenty-five (25) hours at straight time for more than two (2) consecutive weeks shall be given the choice, in writing, of going on part-time status or being laid off for lack of work and shall be given preference over all part-time employees for full-time work when it becomes available. Reduced Hours. Reduced hours will be allowed for Employees on restricted duty as a result of illness or pregnancy upon written notice from a qualified doctor. Employees with reduced hours may opt to receive sick pay or LWOP hours for scheduled hours affected. Employees on restricted duty must be able to work a minimum of one half of their regular scheduled shift. Hours worked on restricted duty must be during an Employee’s regularly scheduled shift.

  • Shift Hours All shifts assigned by the Employer must conform with the following guidelines:

  • Scheduled Hours Hours falling within an employee's scheduled tour.

  • Minimum Hours In the event of an employee starting work in any day and being sent home before s/he has completed four (4) hours, s/he shall be paid for four (4) hours at the regular rate of pay. In the event that an employee reports for work but is sent home before commencing work, s/he shall be paid for two (2) hours at regular rates. No pay entitlement will apply if the employee is incapable of performing his/her duties.

  • TEACHING HOURS A. The teacher’s normal teaching hours in the secondary and elementary schools shall be as follows:

  • After Hours PCPs and specialty Provider contracts shall provide coverage for their respective practices twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week and have a published after hours telephone number; voicemail alone after hours is not acceptable.

  • Reduction in Hours Any reduction in regularly assigned time shall be considered a layoff under the provisions of this Article.

  • Hours For the purposes of an unpaid 7.5-hour shift, the deduction from pay shall equate to 9.375 hours.

  • Regular Hours The regular hours of work each day shall be consecutive except that they may be interrupted by a lunch period.

  • Service Hours The services shall be provided during the working hours and days as defined by the Contractor.

  • Overtime Hours Except as otherwise provided in this section, all hours worked in excess of the established work day, before or after an employee's regular scheduled shift, or on any regularly scheduled day off, shall be considered overtime. All paid vacation time, paid holidays, paid sick leave, compensatory time off, and paid leaves of absence shall be considered as "time worked" for purposes of this Article. Part-time employees whose established work day is less than eight (8) hours shall not be considered to be working overtime until having completed eight (8) hours of work.
