MINIMUM RECOMPENSE. 7.01 Any employee who reports for work, unless previously notified not to do so, and is sent home because no work is available, shall be paid at the equivalent of four (4) hours work at his standard hourly rate, provided that such lack of work is not caused by power failure, or any other event outside the control of the Company and provided further that such employee may be required to perform such alternative work at his standard hourly rate as may be available and which he is qualified to perform.

MINIMUM RECOMPENSE. 20.01 An employee reporting for work as scheduled, unless previously notified not to report, and for whom no work at his regular job is available, shall be offered at least four (4) hours employment in other work at the employee's applicable rate of pay, or at the Company's option will be paid four (4) hours pay at his applicable rate of pay in lieu of work. Without limiting the giving of notice by any other method, a notice posted on the Bulletin Boards of the departments concerned, prior to quitting time of the previous working day, shall be considered sufficient notice for the purpose of this Section.
MINIMUM RECOMPENSE. 25.01 An employee reporting for work at the start of his/her regular shift and finding no work available shall be given the opportunity to do other work for four (4) hours or more and the employee will be expected to accept such work. If four (4) hours' work or more is not available, however, two (2) hours straight time shall be paid.

MINIMUM RECOMPENSE. Any employee who worked the last working day previous and who had not been notified to remain away from work and who reports for work in the customary manner only to find no work available shall, at the Company’s option, either be given three (3) hours of other work at his/her regular hourly rate or be paid the equivalent of three (3) hours of work, but this shall not apply if a shutdown occurs caused by reasons beyond the control of the Company. It is further understood that an employee who is discharged or suspended for cause shall have no claim under this section.

MINIMUM RECOMPENSE. 8.01 Any employee who reports for work as usual and is sent home because no work is available shall be paid the equivalent of four (4) hours work at the higher of either the rate for his regular job or the rate for the job to which he or she is assigned. If the employee is assigned to and performs additional work beyond the four (4) hour work period, he or she shall be paid at the rate of pay for the job to which the employee has been assigned until such time as the employee’s regular work becomes available. The above provision shall not apply when work is not available due to circumstances arising through flood, fire or power failure.
MINIMUM RECOMPENSE. 18.01 In the event an employee is required to remain, by the Company, at their workstation and is unable to perform their work, they shall be paid for the time they are required to remain at their work station.
