Makeup time. 18.5(a) An employee may elect, with the consent of the employer, to work make up time under which the employee takes time off during ordinary hours, and works those hours at a later time, during the spread of ordinary hours provided in this Part 2 of this Agreement. Makeup time. Employees may make up work time that is or would be lost as a result of authorized leave i f the makeup time is performed during the same workweek in which the work time is lost. An employee will only be permitted to make up work time i f the employee submits a signed written request and the employee's direct supervisor approves the makeup time in advance. Any employee who performs makeup work will not be paid overtime unless more than forty (40) hours is worked in the workweek.

Makeup time requests must be submitted in writing to the employee’s supervisor on the form provided by the District. Makeup time requests must be signed by the requesting employee. Requests will be considered based on the legitimate business needs of the District at the time the request is submitted. A separate written request is required each time the employee requests makeup time. If an employee requests time off that is to be made up later in the week, the employee must submit the request at least 24 hours in advance of the desired time off. If the employee requests to make up time prior to taking time off, the employee must submit the request at least 24 hours before working the makeup time. Makeup time requests must be approved in writing before the employee takes the requested time off or works the makeup time, whichever is first. All makeup time must be worked in the same workweek as the time taken off. Employees may not work more than 11 hours in a day or 40 hours in a workweek as a result of making up time that was or would be lost due to personal obligations. If an employee takes time off and is unable to work the scheduled makeup time for any reason, the hours missed will normally be unpaid. However, your supervisor may arrange with you another day to make up the time if possible, based on scheduling needs. If an employee works makeup time in advance of time they plan to take off, the employee must take that time off, even if the employee no longer requires that time off. An employee's use of makeup time is completely voluntary. The District does not encourage, discourage, or solicit the use of makeup time.
Makeup time. 4.8.1. When a team member is absent from work for any reason for which leave is not prescribed under this Agreement, the team member will, with the consent of the Company, be able to make up such time by working an equivalent number of hours up to 1 full day in addition to their normal rostered hours within a single pay period.

Such time shall not be cumulative and shall be in addition to break time established above.

  • Central Time After all Parties have been notified, the provisions of paragraphs (b) and (c) of this Section 2.1 shall apply.”

  • Date/Time Warranty Contractor warrants that Product(s) furnished pursuant to this Contract shall, when used in accordance with the Product documentation, be able to accurately process date/time data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing, and sequencing) transitions, including leap year calculations. Where a Contractor proposes or an acquisition requires that specific Products must perform as a package or system, this warranty shall apply to the Products as a system. Where Contractor is providing ongoing services, including but not limited to: i) consulting, integration, code or data conversion, ii) maintenance or support services, iii) data entry or processing, or iv) contract administration services (e.g., billing, invoicing, claim processing), Contractor warrants that services shall be provided in an accurate and timely manner without interruption, failure or error due to the inaccuracy of Contractor’s business operations in processing date/time data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing, and sequencing) various date/time transitions, including leap year calculations. Contractor shall be responsible for damages resulting from any delays, errors or untimely performance resulting therefrom, including but not limited to the failure or untimely performance of such services. This Date/Time Warranty shall survive beyond termination or expiration of this contract through: a) ninety (90) days or b) the Contractor’s or Product manufacturer/developer’s stated date/time warranty term, whichever is longer. Nothing in this warranty statement shall be construed to limit any rights or remedies otherwise available under this Contract for breach of warranty.
