Make Up Time definition

Make Up Time. On jobs or projects which are in excess of 111 km from the Lakehead Labour Centre, time lost due to inclement weather may be made up on a weekly basis. Such make up time shall not exceed two hours on a regular work day and shall not exceed eight hours on Saturday. No make up time shall be worked on a Sunday or Holiday. Ail make up time shall be voluntary.
Make Up Time means time an employee takes off during ordinary hours and works such hours at a later time, during the spread of ordinary hours.

All make up time shall be voluntary. Make up time due to inclimate weather in the City of Thunder Bay will be allowed Monday to Friday up to two hours at straight time rates. All make up time shall be voluntary and the union shall be notified. If the project warrants more employees, no make up time shall be allowed. Make up time will only be worked in the pay period in which the time is lost.

Examples of Make Up Time in a sentence

  • Make Up Time: Make-up time will be granted for up to two (2) hours only.

  • Also if an employee has worked Make Up Time and not taken it on resignation, the time will be paid at ordinary time in the termination payment.

  • All time worked as Make Up Time will be payable at the employees normal rate of pay.

  • Make Up Time will be paid at ordinary rates and no penalty or overtime payment shall be made.

  • Employees may make arrangements with their immediate supervisor or manager to Make Up Time that is used to attend doctors’ appointments or other such personal matters.

  • Make Up Time All employees are required to record times of commencing and ceasing work by completing a time book or by any other method provided by the employer.

  • CSI reserves the right to eliminate Make Up Time with thirty (30) days notice to the Union and employees.

  • The company reserves the right of authority as to what hours are worked as Make Up Time by that employee and whether or not any penalty rates apply to such hours of Make Up Time.

  • Requests for Make Up Time must be at the discretion of the employee’s supervisor or manager.

  • Requests for Make Up Time must be pre-approved at the discretion of the employee’s supervisor or manager.

Related to Make Up Time

  • Down Time means the time period when specified services with specified technical and service standards are not available to user(s).

  • Measurement Date has the meaning set forth in Section 3.3(a).

  • True-Up Date means the date which is forty-five (45) days after the latest to occur of the Termination Date of this Agreement, the Termination Date of the Single Family Agreement, if applicable, or disposition of all Assets pursuant to this Agreement or the Single Family Agreement, if applicable.

  • Scan time means the period of time between the beginning and end of x-ray transmission data accumulation for a single scan.

  • Monthly Settlement Date means the 25th day of each calendar month (or if such day is not a Business Day, the next occurring Business Day).
