Make Up Time definition

Make Up Time. On jobs or projects which are in excess of 111 km from the Lakehead Labour Centre, time lost due to inclement weather may be made up on a weekly basis. Such make up time shall not exceed two hours on a regular work day and shall not exceed eight hours on Saturday. No make up time shall be worked on a Sunday or Holiday. Ail make up time shall be voluntary. Make up time due to inclement weather in the City of Thunder Bay will be allowed Monday to Friday up to two hours at straight time rates. All make up time shall be voluntary and the Union shall be notified. If the project warrants more employees, no make up time shall be allowed.
