Crib Time as used in the overtime and shift leave clauses of this agreement shall take the place of any meal break during overtime or shift work.
Crib Time is used where the employee cannot be relieved for a crib interval/meal break and the employee shall be paid half an hour at time and a half rate, in addition to the full usual payment for the shift.
No employee is entitled to an additional penalties or premium for working through or not observing a Meal Break, Rest Pause or Crib Time without written direction by the company.
This clause is in lieu of clauses relating to Meal Allowance and Rest Periods and Crib Time of the relevant Parent Awards.
If employees do believe it is impractical to take a Rest Pause, Meal Break or Crib Time, they must inform their Supervisor/Manager immediately of this concern.
