Overtime Rate definition

Overtime Rate for the purposes of the Overtime Clause and Number of Performances Clause shall be based on the Performer’s Negotiated Weekly Rate of Pay or the Negotiated Casual Rate of Pay provided that, for the purposes of this definition, where the Performer’s Negotiated Weekly Rate of Pay or Negotiated Casual Rate of Pay is in excess of 133.33% of the applicable Minimum Rate then the Performer’s Negotiated Weekly Rate of Pay or Negotiated Casual Rate of Pay will, for the purposes of calculating the relevant entitlements be deemed to be 133.33% of the Minimum Rate (for avoidance of doubt 133.33% means the Minimum Rate plus an additional 33.33%).
Overtime Rate means the basic hourly rate of pay multiplied by one and one-half.
Overtime Rate. The FLSA Overtime Rate is equal to one and one-half times the regular rate of pay as set forth in the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Examples of Overtime Rate in a sentence

  • Overtime Rate (at other than facility regular work hours) $105.00 per hr.

  • All other hours worked on a Sunday will be paid at the Time and One-Half Overtime Rate or the Double Time Overtime Rate, as appropriate.

  • All time worked in excess of four hours shall be paid for at the Employee’s Overtime Rate.

  • All other overtime shall be compensated at the Contract Overtime Rate as defined in subparagraph 2 of Section 1103.

  • All overtime earned for hours actually worked in excess of forty (40) hours in a seven (7) day work period shall be compensated at the FLSA Overtime Rate as defined in subparagraph 1 of Section 1103.


More Definitions of Overtime Rate

Overtime Rate. The Contract Overtime Rate is equal to one and one-half times the regular rate of pay as set forth in the Fair Labor Standards Act but shall not take into account the hourly pay increases (retirement salary offsets) set forth below that were provided in Sections 501-A, B, & C of the previous Agreement between the parties that expired June 2, 2018: X. Xxxxxxxx and thirty-seven hundredths percent (13.37%) for each safety classification in the Firefighter Unit as set forth in Section 401 of this Agreement. B. Eleven and sixty-five hundredths percent (11.65%) for each classification in the Auxiliary Unit as set forth in Section 401 of this Agreement. C. Six and five hundredths percent (6.05%) for each non-safety classification in the Firefighter Unit as set forth in Section 401 of this Agreement. For all classifications covered by this Agreement, personnel assigned to emergency incidents, both in-county and out of county, shall be compensated portal to portal for the duration of the incident assignment.
Overtime Rate means (i) for the first twenty (20) hours of Support Services and/or Professional Services performed outside of Normal Working Hours in any calendar week (other than those performed on a public holiday), one and one-half times (1.5x) the standard rate set out in the Order Form, and (iii) for all Support Services and/or Professional Services performed outside of Normal Working Hours during a calendar week in excess of twenty (20) hours or performed on a public holiday in the location where such Support Services or Professional Services are being performed, twice (2x) the standard rate set out in the Order Form;
Overtime Rate means the basic hourly rate time two (2).
