LEAD DRIVER. SECTION 1: During the term of this Agreement, the Employer shall have the right to establish one or more Lead Driver positions at the covered locations. Lead Drivers will be considered bargaining unit employees covered under this Agreement in all respects, except that the Employer shall be permitted to assign them to administrative tasks not otherwise contemplated herein.

LEAD DRIVER. During the term of this Agreement, the Company shall have the right to establish one or more Lead Driver positions at the covered locations. Lead Drivers will be considered bargaining unit employees covered under this Agreement in all respects. Lead drivers are not supervisory and shall have zero supervisory powers, including making the hiring decision, administering, or recommending discipline, making the decision on scheduling, or selecting others for work. Employees shall not be required to accept the designation of Lead Driver. The selection of employees to be designated as Lead Drivers is left to the sole discretion of the Company and shall be based on the Company’s evaluation of the employees’ respective qualifications, except that where the Company deems two or more employees equally qualified, the most senior employee shall be offered the designation. Drivers are encouraged to notify Management of their interest to be considered for a Lead Driver position at any time. The Company will make the Job Description available on the driver’s website. However, the Job Description shall in no way require a bargaining unit employee to engage in supervisory activities such as hiring, firing, responsibly directing, scheduling work or effectively recommending discipline for other bargaining unit employees. Employees designated as Lead Drivers shall be entitled to their regular hourly rate of pay plus a premium of no less than $0.50/hour for all administrative hours worked. Employees who are divested of the Lead Driver designation, either at their request or on the Company’s decision, shall forfeit the Lead Driver premium. The Parties agree to meet and confer to discuss any issues regarding the Lead Driver classification.
LEAD DRIVER. The rate of pay for lead driver is the basic rate of pay plus one dollar and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour.
LEAD DRIVER. A lead driver will be designated by the Union for location shoots to supervise drivers and coordinate the needs of transportation. The lead driver will be assigned to drive a vehicle. No lead driver is necessary if there is only one driver under covered employment.
LEAD DRIVER. An employee who serves as a Lead Driver, as may be required by a particular school or school district, may be given responsibilities that may include: recording information on school check-in sheets, checking for on-time vehicles, notifying dispatch about late vehicle, contacting school personnel for delivering routing information or related problems, or such other items as may be requested by the Employer and/or a particular school or school district. Lead Drivers shall receive a premium of one-quarter hour’s pay per report or time spent working in excess of the normal guarantee, whichever is greater. Driver’s Assistants assigned to Lead Drivers do not receive this additional pay unless they work such time. Available Lead Driver positions shall be awarded on the basis of terminal seniority on the route to Drivers so desiring such positions.

  • Bus Drivers For overtime worked on normal working days or on days of rest, bus drivers shall be paid as follows:

  • Team Leaders 4.3.1 Team Leaders will be paid on the teachers’ scale according to their qualifications and length of service and in addition will be paid management units for responsibility.

  • LEAD HANDS A Lead Hand is an employee who temporarily assumes the duties of a supervisor. The Lead Hand rate also applies to members assigned to specific training positions. It is further agreed that such assignments will not include training contractor personnel or supervisory dispatchers or quality control functions. Lead Hands may be required to distribute work and answer questions. They will not be asked to conduct performance appraisals or handle disciplinary matters. Only an employee who desires a Lead Hand opportunity will be considered for the position. The opportunity will be posted in all offices and stations to ensure Local 975 memberships are aware of the volunteer concept. The Company will review the capabilities of those who express an interest Employees agreeing to take a Lead Hand assignment will not be required to change shifts, and other Local 975 employees will not experience shift changes due to someone else being made Lead Hand. The Company will notify the Union of all Lead Hand assignments exceeding one- month (1) duration. For assignments expected to exceed three (3) months in a twelve- month (12) period, the Company and the Union must be in mutual agreement. Training positions will not exceed six months without mutual agreement. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #12 RE: TEMPORARY RE-ASSIGNMENT OF C&M EMPLOYEES From time to time the Company is required to perform C&M work outside the hours of the regular day shift. Because it is not practicable at this time to set up new shifts to do this work, the Company requires that employees temporarily change their hours of work so that the work can be completed on a timely and cost effective basis. The Union recognizes the need of its C&M day shift crews on an “as needed” basis, and that for the first eight (8) hours per day of these rearranged hours, employees agreeing to change hours will be paid at straight time. • The Union executive and the involved employee will be given as much notice as possible of the impending schedule change • For the purpose of Article twenty three (23) the re-assigned hours will be considered “regular hours” for the duration of the reassignment. Overtime clauses will apply accordingly. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #13 RE: OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN POSITION The Company is committed to further training and development of a multi-skilled workforce. This strategy provides a benefit both to the worker and the Company. It allows the worker to expand on their skill set and have further opportunity and security in the evolving workplace. It allows the Company to gain efficiencies and be more productive in completing work. With respect to the Operations Technician Classification, the Company commits to the following:

  • Team Leader In each of the categories described above, a Team Leader, besides knowing all of the specialization and orientation of their category, must have proved certifiable, technical expertise and aptitude, show leadership capabilities in management, coordination, training and work team skills. On the basis of the aforesaid attributes, a person can be promoted to a higher position within the same category and shall be known as Team Leader. The Team Leader will have the necessary knowledge and responsibility for the product, equipment, processes and their quality, Health and Safety Practices, verification of the availability of the necessary inputs and tools, and deviation and follow-up analysis. The Company will select Team Leaders in accordance with Article 14.2 (c). The Team Leader will have authority to direct workers both inside and outside of the bargaining unit.

  • STATEWIDE ACHIEVEMENT TESTING When CONTRACTOR is an NPS, per implementation of Senate Bill 484, CONTRACTOR shall administer all Statewide assessments within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (“CAASP”), Desired Results Developmental Profile (“DRDP”), California Alternative Assessment (“CAA”), achievement and abilities tests (using LEA-authorized assessment instruments), the Fitness Gram with the exception of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (“ELPAC”) to be completed by the LEA, and as appropriate to the student, and mandated by XXX xxxxxxxx to LEA and state and federal guidelines. CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. XXX shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by XXX.

  • LEAD PAINT (check one) ☐ - The Premises was built prior to 1978 and there is an attachment titled the ‘Lead-Based Paint Disclosure’ that must be initialed and signed by the Landlord and Tenant. ☐ - The Premises was not built prior to 1978.

  • Target Audience The target audience for this policy includes, but is not limited to, all faculty, trainees/students, and other members of MD Anderson’s workforce, including Facilities Management (FM) Project Managers, FM Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Staff, Contractors, and Stakeholders who request a Scheduled Utility Outage for: • New construction. • Renovation. • Maintenance.
