Terminal Seniority. Employees will accrue and retain seniority on an individual office basis. Employees transferring from one office location to another will retain employment longevity with the Employer for the purpose of vacation privileges and rates of pay as provided in the Appendixes, according to location.
Terminal Seniority. Seniority shall be terminal wide and include all persons working at the terminal and on the terminal payroll except as outlined in Article 10. It is further agreed that the Maintenance Department’s seniority shall be separate and not interchangeable with any other department within the terminal. Maintenance employees will not be allowed to perform work within the scope of the City and Dock Departments.
Terminal Seniority. Terminal seniority shall prevail for all purposes, including but not limited to holidays, daily overtime, sixth and seventh day work, replacement of absenteeism and vacation scheduling. Master seniority shall continue to apply in cases of layoff, recall and the annual route and station bid. In the event a bid area is eliminated and is absorbed by other bid areas, the affected drivers shall in seniority order select amongst these affected bid areas. The last affected driver shall have the option of displacing the least senior full-time bid driver or dovetailing into the part-time list.

  • Seniority Rosters Quarterly, the Employer shall prepare a roster of all bargaining unit employees in an institution, geographic jurisdiction or Agency as appropriate. The roster will list employees in descending order of State seniority credits and will contain each employee’s name, State seniority credits, and Institutional seniority credits if applicable. Seniority rosters will be provided to the Chapter President or Assembly President and posted in the work areas of affected employees. Where available, the Employer may provide an electronic posting of the roster in lieu of a paper roster. Each employee’s individual employee seniority credits will be displayed on the employee’s earnings statement.

  • Equal Seniority If two (2) or more employees subject to layoff have equal class seniority, the determination as to who shall be laid off will be made on the basis of the greater hire date seniority, and if that be equal, then the determination shall be made by lot.
