  • Discipline Disciplinary grievances will be initiated at the level at which the disputed action was taken.

  • Discipline Procedure 16.2.1 The Employee shall be notified in writing by the Employer, with full disclosure of the reasons, grounds for action, and/or penalty, with a copy to the Union Representative.

  • DISCIPLINE PROCEDURES The Employer agrees to provide the employee with written notification of a disciplinary document that is to be made a part of the employee’s personnel file. In instances where the Employer desires to conduct an investigatory interview with an employee, the employee shall be entitled upon request to have an Association representative present at the interview. A copy of all disciplinary actions involving suspension or discharge will also be provided to the Association, unless the employee requests that the matter be kept confidential.

  • Employee Discipline Appropriate sanctions must be applied against workforce 18 members who fail to comply with any provisions of CONTRACTOR’s privacy P&Ps, including 19 termination of employment where appropriate.

  • Student Discipline The Board and administration shall support and uphold employees in their efforts to maintain discipline in the District and as soon as possible shall give response to all employee requests regarding discipline problems. Further, the authority of employees to use prudent disciplinary measures which are not arbitrary nor capricious for the safety and well-being of students and employees, as provided in District policies, is supported by the Board. In the exercise of authority by an employee to control and maintain order and discipline, the employee may use reasonable and professional judgment concerning matters not provided for by specific policies adopted by the Board and not inconsistent with federal or state laws or regulations. The District agrees to conduct informational meeting(s) at the building level for certificated employees concerning applicable federal, state, and local laws and district rules, regulations, and procedures pertaining to student rights and the processing of student discipline. The meeting(s) shall be held prior to September 30.

  • Progressive Discipline The Employer will follow the principles of progressive discipline. Disciplinary action shall be commensurate with the offense. Disciplinary action shall include:

  • Workforce A. The Contractor shall employ only orderly and competent workers, skilled in the performance of the services which they will perform under the Contract.

  • Employer Grievance The Employer may institute a grievance by delivering the same in writing to the President of the Local Union and the President shall answer such grievance in writing within five working (5) days. If the answer is not acceptable to the Employer, the Employer may, within ten (10) working days from the day the President gives her answer, give ten (10) working days notice to the President of the Local Union of its intention to refer the dispute to arbitration.

  • Corrective Measures If the Participating Generator fails to meet or maintain the requirements set forth in this Agreement and/or the CAISO Tariff, the CAISO shall be permitted to take any of the measures, contained or referenced in the CAISO Tariff, which the CAISO deems to be necessary to correct the situation.

  • Screening All drug screening tests shall be conducted by medical laboratories certified by the Department of Health and Human Services or certified by a DHHS recognized certification program. No test shall be considered positive until it has been confirmed by a Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry full scan test or its equivalent. The procedures utilized by the City and testing laboratory shall include an evidentiary chain of custody control. All procedures shall be outlined in writing and this outline shall be followed in all situations arising under this Article. The split sample method of collection shall be used and shall follow prescribed testing procedures. Collection of samples for all random testing shall take place in the police department.
