Health and Safety Obligations. When supplying the Goods and/or the Services, the Supplier shall adopt all the necessary measures to comply with its obligations regarding the prevention of occupational risks and, where applicable, be aware of the compliance of its subcontractors. The Supplier shall provide the Client, when so required, with the documents duly accrediting this. The Supplier and its Subcontractors shall comply with Client’s Health and Safety Plan. Failure to present these documents or the detection of irregularities therein may lead to payments being withheld or offset against pending invoices and to the termination of the contract or order by the Client. The Supplier shall be solely responsible for the safety conditions of its own and subcontractor´s employees and people involved within the execution of the works and/or performing of during the period of execution of the works within the scope of a Purchase Order.

Health and Safety Obligations. BY EXECUTING THIS AGREEMENT, CONTRACTOR REPRESENTS AND WARRANTS THAT IT IS QUALIFIED TO DO BUSINESS IN EACH OF THE JURISDICTIONS WITHIN ANY CONTRACT AREA. CONTRACTOR FURTHER REPRESENTS AND WARRANTS THAT ITS EMPLOYEES ARE QUALIFIED AND COMPETENT AND THAT CONTRACTOR IS, AND WILL BE THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THIS AGREEMENT, TRAINED TO MEET AND COMPLY WITH THE STANDARDS OF A REASONABLY PRUDENT OPERATOR IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO HEALTH, SAFETY AND WORK ENVIRONMENT, AND THAT IT MEETS ALL REQUIREMENTS IMPOSED BY U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY & HEALTH ADMINISTRATION AND REQUIREMENTS UNDER ALL APPLICABLE LAWS, AND THAT IT ADMINISTERS ALL MANDATED EMPLOYEE DRUG TESTING. SUBJECT TO THE STANDARDS OF A REASONABLY PRUDENT OPERATOR, CONTRACTOR SHALL ADOPT ANY AND ALL METHODS, PROCEDURES AND PRECAUTIONS AS ARE NECESSARY TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS IN THIS ARTICLE IV.
Health and Safety Obligations. Both parties will comply with their obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Xxx 0000. This includes the University taking all practicable steps to provide the Postdoctoral Fellow with a healthy and safe working environment. Postdoctoral Fellows must comply with all directions and instructions from the Employer regarding health and safety and must also take all practicable steps to avoid undermining their own health and safety or the health and safety of any other person. Postdoctoral Fellows must become familiar with the University's health and safety policies, and any modifications to those policies which may be introduced from time to time.
Health and Safety Obligations. The Employer shall comply with all applicable health and safety legislation, regulations and guidelines which shall constitute minimum acceptable standards and practices to be improved upon by joint agreement of the Parties to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. The Union and the Employer agree to the establishment of a Joint Labour‐Management Occupational Health and Safety Committee whose function shall be those specified in the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations thereto. Furthermore, the Joint Committee shall have the authority to develop and maintain a Health and Safety policy and have regard for all applicable Health and Safety legislation in developing these guidelines for its operation.
