District-Wide Committees. The District and the Union agree to establish a district wide committee to discuss workplace issues of mutual concern.

District-Wide Committees. Teachers recognize their responsibility to assist the Superintendent through participation on committees. When district-wide committees are established, the Superintendent will announce them in a staff bulletin so that all teachers who are interested will have an opportunity to request consideration for appointment. The goal of every committee is to have a representative from each building. Staff members will participate in matters of research and curricular guidelines in keeping with the requirement of the State of Ohio school standards and upon request of the Administration without additional remuneration.
District-Wide Committees. The Association shall have the right to designate an SEA representative, as appointed by the president, to all District established committees when the work of the committee may impact the working conditions of teachers. There shall be a District technology committee that includes employee representatives from each school. The purpose of the committee will be to monitor the current state of technology equipment and to make recommendations related to maintenance of technology equipment, replacement of same, and purchasing of new equipment. Employees on the committee shall be paid in the same manner as for curriculum program work per Article VI, Section 9 of this Agreement.

District-Wide Committees. The Association shall be entitled to designate the classified representative(s) to any District-wide committee that affects the working conditions of classified employees. A site committee whose decisions may affect the working conditions of classified employees shall have the classified representative(s) elected by the classified employees at that site. In the event the elected classified representative is not an LVCA member, LVCA has the right to appoint one.
District-Wide Committees. An employee selected or appointed to serve on a district-wide committee may be released from scheduled work by his/her supervisor to participate in meetings of that committee. The employee's supervisor will attempt to accommodate the employee's participation.
