Teacher Representation. When the Board desires teacher representation on any committee, agency, commission, or other such body established by the Board, it shall consult with the Union and request of the Union, its recommendation. The Union in preparing its recommendation, shall be guided solely by the competence required by the appointment and shall canvass the qualifications of all teachers without regard to membership or non-membership in the Union. The decision of the Board in making its selection of such a committee shall be final.

Teacher Representation. The School Board shall recognize a Teachers’ Grievance Committee of five (5) members to be selected by the Exclusive Representative. It is the responsibility of the Exclusive Representative to inform the School Board who will comprise the committee by October 15 of each year.

No warning that is subsequently written and/or placed in the teacher's file shall be made without the right of the association to be present.
