Administrative Leave of Absence. In addition to other reasons for administrative leave, the University may place a student on an administrative leave of absence prior to a conduct hearing when, in the judgment of the University, the student’s presence may pose a threat of harm to himself, to others, or to property of the University. The administrative leave of absence is subject to the provisions outlined in the Academic Catalog (see “Administrative Leave of Absence” in Section Four, Student Rights and Responsibilities).

Administrative Leave of Absence. An employee returning to work from an Administrative Leave of Absence authorized by the Company shall retain the amount of seniority which he accrued prior to going on Administrative Leave.
Administrative Leave of Absence. A. By February 1st of the sixth (6th) year after a faculty member on continuing contract takes an administrative position with the College and is placed on Administrative Leave from a faculty position, he/she must choose one of the following: (1) request an appointment to a regular Administrator position on an annual contract basis; or (2) request to return to a continuing contract faculty position. The request must be submitted in writing to the President. The President will acknowledge to the Administrator in writing receipt of the request and render a decision on its effective date. A request to return to a continuing contract faculty position is irrevocable once approved. The College will make every effort to move the Administrator back into a continuing contract faculty position as quickly as possible: the faculty member will be returned to a continuing contract faculty position within two years.
Administrative Leave of Absence. Any employee who leaves the bargaining unit to become the Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Xxxxxxxx and returns as an employee at the next available position opening shall return without loss to seniority if the employee remained employed for a period of two years after return. However, the employee will not receive seniority credit for the time not employed by the Town of Xxxxxxxx Highway Department.
Administrative Leave of Absence. Pending investigation by the department head of an accusation or accusations against an employee alleging employee misconduct, the department head, with approval by the Human Resources Director, may place the employee on a paid administrative leave of absence. Except for investigations of issues that are also the subject of on-going criminal investigations, leave shall not extend beyond a maximum of one hundred eighty (180) days. The administrative leave provisions of this Section do not apply to investigations related to, or resulting from, Fitness for Duty or Workers’ Compensation related issues. An employee placed on Administrative Leave pursuant to the provisions of this Section shall, unless otherwise directed, be required to contact his or her supervisor, or other designated party(ies) at the start of each shift he or she would otherwise have been required to work and shall be required to return to work within twenty-four (24) hours’ notice by an authorized department representative. It is also the employee’s responsibility to ensure the department has his or her current address and, if applicable, home or cellular telephone number.
