Workmanship and Quality. 12.2.1 Employees shall test any installation, plant or equipment, complete appropriate company forms and sign all required documentation in accordance with the applicable statutes, regulations and Company policies and procedures. It is understood that quality assurance is a key factor to ensure the Company becomes a more competitive and efficient enterprise. The Parties are therefore committed to the introduction and maintenance of accredited quality assurance programs where deemed necessary by the Employer and in accordance with Australian Standards and Company policies and/or procedures.

Employees will be required to perform electrical functions and duties in accordance with the generally accepted principles of good quality and sound and safe practices within the requirements of skill and training and competence. It is also a term and condition of employment that an Employee will: • properly use and maintain all appropriate protective clothing, tools and equipment provided by the Company; and • maintain a commitment to implement and observe the best agreed health and safety practices, quality procedures, site cleanliness and waste management practices; and • provide and maintain an adequate kit of tools as stated in this Agreement; and • sign all required documentation in accordance with the accredited Quality Assurance program; and • conduct minor vehicle maintenance where possible and practicable and where Employees are provided with the appropriate tools and it is safe to perform such work; and • complete all required documentation in accordance with the applicable statutes, regulations Company policy, and accredited Quality Assurance program. The Union will make every endeavour to eliminate any demarcation issue that may arise from the performance of these works. It is understood that Quality Assurance is a key factor to ensure that the Company becomes a more competitive and efficient enterprise. The Parties are therefore committed to the introduction and maintenance of accredited Quality Assurance programs where deemed necessary by the Company and in accordance with Australian or International Standards.

Affiliate shall perform the Work and discharge all duties and responsibilities under this Agreement diligently and faithfully, in a high quality, first class manner and consistent with the “Mascot Affiliation Network Agreement Requirements” attached to this Agreement, and acknowledges that workmanship of only the highest quality will be acceptable. All Work under this Agreement shall be performed by competent workmen and executed in a timely, professional, neat, first- class and workmanlike manner. Affiliate agrees to carry out fulfill and perform all such duties and responsibilities to Company, in such a manner to enhance and develop further business interests and welfare of the Company, and not to undertake or engage in any activity at any time during the term of their Affiliation that would in any manner interfere with a discharge of their duties and responsibilities as an Affiliate of the Network or compete or take any action which might result, or appear to result (in the opinion of the Company or any Client) in competition with the Company’s business or relationship with any Client. The determination of the quality of the Work of Affiliate shall be in the sole discretion of the Company. The utilization and participation of the Affiliate in the Network shall continue only as long as the services rendered by Affiliate are satisfactory to the Company, regardless of any other provision contained in this Agreement. The Company shall be the sole judge as to whether the services of the Affiliate are satisfactory. The Affiliate shall cooperate to the fullest extent possible with the Company in scheduling and performing the Affiliate’s Work to avoid interference with the Client’s business operations and to meet all completion dates.
