Insurance Carrier. The Employer reserves the right to select the health insurance carrier(s) or to implement self-insurance or other method of funding health care coverage, provided that the benefits remain substantially comparable. Administrative aspects of the health care plan(s) (including the network of providers) shall not be considered a benefit.
Insurance Carrier. All insurance required under this Section is to be placed with insurers with a current A.M. Best’s rating no less than A-:VII, licensed to do business in California, and satisfactory to the City.
Insurance Carrier. The Employer has the right to change its insurance carrier for the benefit plans at any time so long as the benefits at changeover are at least equal to the plans being replaced, and the Association has been notified in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to such change taking place.
Insurance Carrier. The Company shall be free to change the insurance carrier provided that such change provides benefits equal to or better then those contained in this Agreement.
Insurance Carrier. The Board may substitute other insurance carriers so long as the insurance coverage and service provided are equal to or better than those now being provided.
Insurance Carrier. The Employer retains the right to select and change insurance carriers, or to self-insure all or any portion of insurance benefits, at any time during the duration of this Agreement, without reduction in benefits.
Insurance Carrier. The University may change the insurance carrier or plan for any and all benefit plans provided for hereunder, conditioned upon its provision of substantially similar benefits.
Insurance Carrier. The Employer reserves the right to select or change the insurance carrier or carriers, or to become a self-insurer, either wholly or partially, and to select the administrator of such self-insurance programs; provided, however, that the benefits provided shall remain substantially equivalent or better. Prior to changing carriers a special conference will be called to discuss the changes and disputes over whether the benefits are substantially equivalent or better are subject to the grievance procedure.
Insurance Carrier. The Board reserves the right to solicit quotes regarding any change in the Health insurance carrier or carriers for presentation to the union should the need arise. The board’s intention it to maintain the same level of benefits agreed upon in the current Master Agreement. The employer will call a special conference to meet with the Union to outline and discuss any changes that the employer proposes to implement in the insurance, its carrier, or coverage. During the life of this agreement, any change or modification of the health plan will require ratification by both parties.
Insurance Carrier. The College shall have the right to select and change insurance carriers for the above coverages.
