In accordance with the preferred practice of Employees, only one paid crib break shall be taken on Saturdays between 9:00 am and 11:00 am, for a period not exceeding 15 minutes. As a general rule, Employees will not be required to work on Public Holidays. An Employee that works on a public holiday will be paid at a rate of double time and a half, inclusive of payment for the day, calculated at the Employee’s hourly wage rates, as per Appendix 1, or by agreement a day off in lieu may be taken at an agreed time.
